I'm thinking Jeremy Piven. He's got a notoriously massive ego and has a history of treating cast/crew like shit and other on-set shenaniganing that'd make Christian Bale blush. He's been in a ton of movies (usually in secondary roles) and obviously Entourage gave him a ton of cachet although I don't know if you'd necessarily call him 'huge' so that's the only caveat.
Scots accents, especaily from places like glasgow, lends itself really well to a couple of things one is telling stories and the other is sounding intimidating to the point where even a parrot sounds like a mass murderer toy.
