Black and darker skinned people and women are very often portrayed as grumpy, aggressive and mean. Rather than sweet and cute and bubbly. Very interesting how in your entire series, the darkest skinned doll is the grumpy one. I think your unconscious bias is showing, just saying.

Ahh, I love seeing Kuromi stuff in the wild! I remember being 13 years old and seeing her in Hot Topic. She was birthday cake, my backpack - I was obsessed for a while.
Kuromi is always underrated, even in the sanrio stores here in la, usually your see her on something with my melody, but it's rare to see her alone even though my melody has so much merch by herself. Usually I go to the store around Halloween, (her birthday) because there's more merch then.
How old is hot topic? I know I have been shopping there since last year but I learned about it maybe 2 years ago

I absolutely LOVE Kuromi! She's so cute, I hope you consider eventually making a My Melody doll to go with her.
Someone else may have already said that, but I wonder if the "dirt" in your iron is mineral build up from the water when you use the steam function? Mine does that sometimes. I'm not sure the best way to clean it, but sometimes if I think it may be an issue I turn it on to the steam setting then use the "steam boost" button or whatever it is that forces it to steam and that usually blasts the deposits out. Hope that helps!
A little vinegar water would help clean out mineral and lime deposits. Just add it, like you would normal water, heat, and then force the steam through before dumping it all out and giving it a good couple of rinses, so that you get all the vinegar out. I use this on my tea kettle because we have very hard water here and I can't get my hand into the kettle to scrub it.

I absolutely love Kuromi. She is my favorite of HK's friends even though she's hard to find things for. I really only have three things: a travel thermos, a keychain, and a small plush. I bought all these at a store that no longer exists and have thus moved so yeah, no Kuromi things for me since.
And I'm constantly having to rescue my thermos cup from my daughter...
Not like she doesn't have her own! Lol

I don't know if you've ever tried this but you could count the drops of different pigments that you put in the small test batch and have that resin be a specific volume, that way you can mix the exact color without wasting so much time in guess work and trying to eyeball it. I've done this with mixing costum inks and it has worked pretty well for me so far. Hope it helps!
