I got this and am still practicing. Love your technique on the mid section. Maybe that’s what I need to do. I was torn between this pen and the glossier which I’ve heard is easier to use.
I'm with you on the cooler shades. It seems counterintuitive since my hair is strawberry blonde, but I have always preferred neutral brow products for a more natural look. A soft blonde if you will. I have been using your brow techniques with great success these last several years, thanks. 💖
I have my brows microbladed but if I didn't I'd give this a go, I hardly have any eyebrows so I always found it hard to draw them in and look natural. Your very good sweetie. Xx
Thanks for a great review! I just wait for it to launch in Denmark, then I buy it. Had hoped the colours were more on the cool side.... but it's waterproof!
I think she mentioned she used the Medium Brown color, because she said something about she thought it may be a tad too dark, and not quite as ashy as the UD cool cookie shade. So my interpretation was Medium Brown was the color seen in the tutorial..but what do I know! Lol ...hope this helps you tho! Have a great day!
Thank you very very much I am terrible with my brows I am learning I’m going to buy this pan and give it a shot. Today is April 1, 2020, no precious this is no joke I really like this video!
Hi do you find it as the best brow pen? I have collection of ten great brands now but still looking for the ultimative one: longgg lasting, very thin strokes as real hair, perfect natural dark brown, they all kind of smudge in one point and not really long lasting
My FAVOURITE for thin strokes, cool brown colour, and long lasting that doesn’t dry out every couple of uses is the Urban Decay Brow Blade in Cool Cookie! I’ve tried LOADS, and this is still my favourite.
One thing that should be mentioned is that you have to use a VERY light hand to make these tiny hair strokes. If you are heavy handed the lines will be way too thick. It took some trial and error for sure.
@@SOl-lb8bt yes you need to let it dry 30 seconds after applying, Im thinking to give a try to this brow pen so looking for info if its long lasting and how long the product last? I read people saying the product last less than a month in daily use
Wish I had seen this video before I bought the Benefit microblading effect brow pen, as this is the sort of effect I thought it would give (based on all the rave reviews I had seen). Was not too impressed with it. I would really like to try this ABH one as it looks fab 👌
@THE SCHOOL OF ART On all the review videos I have seen about the Benefit one, the pen strokes come out well defined to mimic the look of hairs (just like the ABH one looks like it does). I have been unable to get this effect despite trying it at various angles, applying different levels of pressure, and both with and without make up. Each time it comes out just like a smudgy colour which fills in the gaps in my brows but not with the look of defined hairs (just looks like I have used a blunt brow pencil and drawn around the outline of my brow and coloured in the gaps). For me, I feel it was a waste of money. But thats just my personal experience; every other review I have seen has been positive 🤷♀️
Is soft brown the lightest? it looks that way according to the swatches. I bought taupe and ended up exchanging it for blonde and still find that to be too dark.
I use Taupe for ABH brow gel. So I purchased Brow Pen in taupe too, but the color was totally off, it was totally nothing similar to taupe color. The color was in some sort of light brown with orange tint. It looked so orange on me. I was so disappointed, these pens aren't cheap. 😭 Had you the same experience with ABH brow pen in taupe?
@@laurentoppethomas119 I actually discovered the Urban Decay brow blade and love it in cool cookie and yes it's actually cool and not too dark! I also tried dark drapes and like both
I did stipulate that I would prefer a slightly ashier tone but they currently don’t offer one to rival the Urban Decay Cool Cookie shade which matches my colour perfectly. But even with this slightly warmer shade, when you’re not so close up it looks fine.
This looks SO GOOD! Finally an EASY tutorial
So pleased you found it easy!

In my opinion, the abh is actually easier to use. For me, the tip of the brow flick is a little too flimsy which makes it harder to control
Jasmine I feel the exact same!! Glossier is a little too liquidy sometimes, as well, contributing to the difficulty with controlling it. :)
@@Future-zx9ts Exactly!
Best tute I've seen in a long time.... lady, you're the brow slayer!
At 2:30 she says she’s using shade taupe btw
Hey what lashes are you wearing? They look so good

Janet F yes! I’m a blonde, and I’d almost wear the granite shade! 😂
I just bought this brow pen but i had no idea how to make it work . Now seeing your video has giving me hope for it 😝 thank you 💕
You’re welcome 😊
The best tutorial hands down
Thank you for this tutorial. I just ordered this and excited to receive it. You're amazing and your brows are perfect!
Wow girl I love it! I’m working on changing my brow routine so this is a must!
Ahh, I’m pleased to have helped you, Ange!
Outstanding, slow, clear, hi def, exactly what I wanted to see.
Wonderful, so pleased it’s what you were looking for!
I just purchased the medium brown and I love it!! Such a great product to fill in those brows.

Hey love, i was wondering which do you genuinely like better, Urban Decay Brow Blade or the ABH Brow Pen? Xx
Just a tip, ABH brow pencil is way too hard. I tried the blonde or taupe but wasn’t happy. Guess I should get a pen.
So u think UD is better?
Which colour did you use for your own brows?
Thanks for a great review! I just wait for it to launch in Denmark, then I buy it. Had hoped the colours were more on the cool side.... but it's waterproof!
Which lashes are you wearing?
Best tutorial ever! Clear and concise.
Thanks Sara!

Wich brow products are water/swimmingproof?
Got those steady surgeon, I mean makeup hands!
With my disabilities, I've got more milkshake making hands 👐😂😘
Haha!!! It’s so hard to do the other side on camera as I want to lean my elbow on something to steady myself but I have to try and hover my arm! 😅
Awesome tutorial! Thank you
You're very welcome!
I have super thick and dark brows but i would love them to look like this, its difficult for me to achieve
please specify the color you used......
She said Taupe.

Absolutely! I always say to people to hold the pen towards the middle/end and that’ll enable a lighter hand.
@@ShonaghScott does the pen dry? is it like a liquid eyeliner?

You’re welcome!!
I will be trying out thanks for sharing.
The best video! Thankyou 🙏🤍
You’re welcome!!
idk what i’m doing wrong but my strokes are appear thicker and it looks muddy :/
You need to use a very light hand to achieve fine strokes, if you press slightly heavier you’ll get thicker strokes.

Great brows, great tutorial!
Thanks so much, Kathi!
I have this pen! How do you store it? Tip down or tip up?
I always store mine tip down.
Beautiful 🤩
Thanks 🤗
I needed this! TYSM! 💕
Agreed
Great job! I wish I could get it to look that good in my brows. :-/
how long it lasts?
my brow pen is too pigmented and it looks like an eyeliner. what do i do😭
THe Name of color u use?!
Love this! perfect for us gals with naturally nice brows.
Are any of them a little cooler and more ashy?
Medium Brown
Which color you used?
Taupe.
is it the color for your brow? it is lighter than your nature brow
My natural brow colour is a medium ashy brown. Cool Cookie in the Brow Blade by Urban Decay is the closest match to my natural brows.
It’s late now but buying first thing tomorrow morning !!!!!
Yay!! Enjoy
Shonagh Scott I love it 🥺
What colour did you say you liked in the Urban Decay? I replayed several times and can’t make out what you said...
It was Cool Cookie
Ficou perfeita amei
Thank you, Sonia!

Taupe
@@ShonaghScott Thank you! That's crazy bc I used taupe and it looked orangey. Not good for me.

I have this exact one but it marks much darker, shakier and thicker until you have enough practice. By then the pen is out of makeup. 😑
i really wish they were ashier! toooooo warm
Yeah, try Cool Cookie by Urban Decay
Omg you got them so even, impossible
Haha, lots of practice!
What colour is that you're using
Oh you must have missed where I said it, it’s Taupe.
Which color is darker than?
One Is too High
They sit like that due to a trauma to the brow area when I was young.
Nothing is coming out
Contact Anastasia Beverly Hills incase it’s a bad batch?
is not your right color
