OOooohhh that is a great set of suggestions! We could take this blink idea to the extreme and include the Aluren/Cloudstone Curio combo. That should speed up our end game!
Whenever I heard Arcades, the Strategist - I automatically think Big Butts Matter for the archetype. Typically a card with Defender applies to this rule as well. With that being said though, this was a great look at how to go about building this deck. Not a deck I have built myself, but I have played against Arcades in the past and it is surprisingly strong for what you look at from just a base level. The ground work has been there for this commander for a while now, but still awesome checking out another persons opinion as it can just open up so many viewpoints and perspectives that someone may have missed when building it themselves. I know personally I get excited when I see a deck showcased from you that I either have or have planned to build as it just allows me to get a better look at a commander then I could ever have hoped for doing it by myself. The addition of Alluren and Cloudstone Curio combo is a very interesting one, and something I never thought about for this build. Rasaad yn Bashir can be a game ender in this deck for sure, such a powerful addition from Baldur's Gate. Spicy brew for the baseline of this deck as always MTGB, fantastic watch as always as well. Keep up all the phenomenal work and we will see you on the next one. #Roadto1k
100% agree. Hearing "defender-matters," or "toughness-matters," or "wall deck" did not generally bring about any ooohs or aaahs. Arcades definitely changed that. The Aluren-Curio combo is just flat-out deadly.

Wall of denial can’t attack because arcades ability doesn’t work on shroud
Arcades' "each creature" ability does not TARGET any of our creatures, so Wall of Denial would be able to attack.
