Just finished watching.
It was exactly what I was looking for: helpful experienced advice on what it takes to build traps.
Again, wanted to let you know how much you've helped me and I'm sure many others out there with your efforts.
Much appreciated,

Enjoyed the video. Yours are the best pots I've seen. Now I want to try to make some. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Wow! Super informative video. Really appreciate all the pricing and information stuff. Only thing I’m still curious about is the center division part for crabs to go up to the upper level of the trap. but you’ve done a great job and we appreciate it. Also love, love, love all the stuff about being your own boss. Congratulations for you making that transition. I hope you do very well for yourself. God bless you man.
Thank you so much I'm gonna make another video getting more in depth on the Crab trap.
I been crabbing Lil under a year! 💪 still learning. Keep up the good work! Good info here.
Yea bro 💪it's always something new to learn and when it comes to information it's free if I can help someone not make a mistake that I have made it's a win in my book.
Great video man. learned a few things thanks
Brother you got to make more videos I love this stuff
Thank you
Nice size traps. I might have to come to Florida big brother
Love this
Awesome job explaining things. You cleared up a lot of questions I had. I am still looking to learn how to create entry doorways and learn how the center divider works. Obviously, they need to be created so they are easy for crab to enter and impossible to exit. I am interested if you used a torch to heat rebar bend points and whether a bench vice was used to bend it. Thanks for teaching us.
So you can go to a place called Malone steel and buy them already bent. Just ask for crab trap squares it's already bent rebar 1/2 inch.
Great videos, I am learning all I can so I can build my own. Btw... love the video where daughter steals your camera 😂
Great video. I been crabbing with commercial pots many years in delaware. Wire cost rises annually. Have you considered to make a shorter pot to gain another pot per roll of wire?
You mean to tell me the “Crab Cartel” is scurred to put his FWC Number out in the streets? What’s this world coming to? Pablo would be ashamed. 🤣Great Informational Video
@@crabcartel just made a couple traps myself and your video was very helpful. Good luck to you this season
@trowuabeatin Thank you so much. Yea my goal is to help people learn about the industry.
Awesome effort to explain things. You Cleared up a lot of questions I had. I am still looking to learn how to make the crab entry ways and to learn about that center piece and how it is made and works. Do you bend the rebar by heating bend points with a torch and using a bench Vice?
Great video, thank you! I know crabs swim to the top chamber of the pot, is there any way to get them out of the bottom chamber? I don't see any latches at the bottom, to access any crabs that may be down there.
We just turn the Trap over and shake them through the baffle. Then shake them out the same way.
Great video my guy. 👍🏾 I was wondering if I was to make ten of these, then post them for sale, how long it would take for them to sale and how often do they sell?
I was just talking to a buddy looking for a person to build. Can't really put a time limit on it but they could sell pretty fast.
@@crabcartel I'm going to do more research. Hopefully I can find a reasonable profit in a reasonable time period for the business.
Cost approximately 20 to build. How much do they sell for??
I really don't sell mine but if I did would be around $35-40 but I think $30 is a good price.
How did you cut your wires and what did you use to bend them bro
In the video you watch I cut it and bend it by hand ✋️ with a pair of hand cutter and use my hand and a 2×4 to bend. But I'm making a video now using different technique so pls stay tuned.
Ware do you bent the 42 wire mash
So you will count 13 square from each side and bend them after the 13th square.
Best place to sell if you don’t live in the crabbing or fishing states? We live in TX and I’m excited to start making these but I want to know where to sell them.
It's blue crabber in TX I'm sure. But go on Facebook groups like (Crabber Trading Post)( Blue Crabber of Florida) which is my group. And just network there's more I sure you can get them sold.
Hello how can I purchase some of your traps but half not full with four entrance? Thanks!
I understand let me ask you how can I reach out to you want to speak with you directly in regards about traps?

You can go on Blue Crabber of Florida on Facebook and post what you wanna sell it's a group that I started and we would love to have you. Also Crabber Trading Post is another one just ask to join both.

I just started a expedite business so I'm trying to get in all avenue of business so again I truly appreciate it homie 💪🏽💯
