- Lloyds of London has been covering complicated and unusual risks including a wine tasters nose and a coffee tasters tongue for more than 300 years. But twice since 1990, it has faced crises that threatened its very existence. In a Wharton Leadership Lecture, chief executive Richard Ward describes the lessons it learned.
Great speech
This is a great video!
Lloyds Register of Shipping or only Lloyds insurance
Speaking of losses, surprised you didn't mention the Sasse syndicate problem? That was in the mid 70's, no?
👍👍👍
Do you still write line slips like in 1975 when I worked there? The private jets of the Sultan of Oman would surely qualify for such a policy?
Very strange how Richard Ward CEO of Lloyd's says that any policy underwritten at Lloyds is a Lloyd's policy. I wonder if you ever bothered to explain that comment to your company lawyers?
I have written on a open legal letter that Lloyd's is nothing to do with my policy that was underwritten at Lloyd's.
Check with ND about the letters he has been writing recently.
Richard Ward I commend you for giving me the perfect evidence against Lloyd's who have put me though hell for the last six month
Outdated, what about claims u denied on Pandemic!
You talk about a risk influenced society when you talk about the filters of that society's investment vehicles
