I'm only up because my boyfriend has food poisoning and he's throwing up and shit and I am just trying to make sure he is okay and take care of him. But I have ptsd so my thoughts run wild at this time of night and this music fits the mood perfectly as I pack my bowl; getting ready to smoke my weed, before bed. The guitar is great. I love the drums. I love Ben's voice. I dig the vibe. And I just wanna vibe to this forever. Death Cab For Cutie sets a certain type of mood... idk how to even explain it or put it into words but it is healing me and I needed it to heal me. I LOVE THIS TYPE OF MUSIC ♡ don't care if it isn't mainstream it makes me feel good when I listen to it because this music makes me feel like someone finally fucking understands.

The double kick at the end of the final verse really drives it home for me. It's emphasizing this is the last verse and setting up the emotion in the last repeating lines.
Just really starting to get into these guys and I'm happy i decided to explore there work. Its a shame i came in late but its nice having a large selection of music to choose. Just wanted to say also they got some really enticing tunes and some mesmerizing lyrics. I feel it mind body and sprite at least for me anyways.
