Guys, help me out here. I'm not picking on this artisan at all. I greatly admire his craftsmanship and passion. My question is, don't these big bolt-on fenders add a lot of excess weight to the cars and make handling worse?
It's just fiberglass, so as far as weight it's not that much added weight. And as far as performance, this look has some similarities to some group B rally cars and time attack cars that have custom aero made for them to increase aerodynamics. But as for these kits I believe they primarily for looks.
