Need quick reply Which is better kodiaq or endeavor In 1 road pressents 2 offroading and racing 3 safety 4 driving control 5 for comfort traveling 6 interior and engine quality
Loved the review. I usually don’t comment on car reviews. This is specially for Mr Vikrant Singh. Saw him after a long long time. Great energy and perfect in explaining features. Rightly mentioned about the kick boot opening which generally doesn’t work on one go 👍🏻😊
Superb review. Better than many established rival journos. Hats off to the journalist and the car as well. Wish the kodiaq costed in 35 lakh bracket then it wud have been a runaway success
Let me tell everyone firstly the 150bhp engine in this 1.8 ton car is more than adequate. The kodiak is faster to 100kph than the fortuner and the endavour, not to forget higher top speed as well than the rivals touching 190-200 kph. Secondly, a car of this size and stature, needs to move it's occupants in luxury which the kodiak does with aplomb. Unlike fortuner or endavour, kodiak is a monoquoqe so body control is excellent. In and endavour if sitting in the middle, your moving around all the time. Very uncomfortable. There is no competition for this car. For 34.5 ex it's all the car ever needed. It's direct competition are the discovery sports I guess which starts at 45 +. The sence of luxury and exclusiveness given in this car is unparalleled. No match for fortuner or endavour. This car is in another league in itself. If One has deep pockets, should definitely consider buying this car.
I drive this car even though you are right about luxury it is still underpowered with only 150 BHP. It is much slower while overtaking and from 0-60 compared to my TSI Jetta
After sales of Skoda is the main issue...few days back sat in friends kodiaq less than 1 year old. The AC compressor was not working.Although the car is under warranty but still..
Very sensible & no nonsense type of review. Bit surprised at the (low) view count. Guess some people would rather listen to certain morons who call themselves motoring journalists but really sound more like a cat being strangled between the wheels.
Roopam Paul I had the same question in mind. XC 60 is 15L more pricey. But if you are able to afford it, and planning for a long term use definitely go for the XC 60. It’s amazing and better than GLC, BMW X3 and Audi Q5. Another two things kept me away from Kodiaq and forced to XC60 are, 1) Kodiaq is a first gen car. I feel like its a beta model. Let it mature and let a second gen car come solving all the issues it may have..! The time testing is still going on..! On the other hand Volvo is legendary. 2) Th seats of volvo are awesome.. so hugging and best for long trips.. its having less body roll and more safety features too..Finally both are having a similar fuel consumption too. I have heard Skoda have a bad reputation for after sales service but Volvo is really nice so far in terms of service and cost.
Cherian Mathew I would say if you don't need the extra seats, the Tiguan is wonderful. You could also save some money and get the Compass. But for a seven seater, the choice really is quite limited. But I'd say the Endeavour makes a good buy.
Sir can you please tell us why they are taking such a long time for Honda hrv to launch in India, if Pakistan and Sri Lanka have got very long time back, why are they not doing it in India, I guess it’s now 4 years it’s launched, very badly waiting for it,
Great video TEAM CARWALE....Do u guys have any update regd. the tentative launch of the smaller sibling ..the KAROQ..they were recently spotted in India..highly possible they were brought for testing...Feedback appreciated :)
Karthik Rajgopal The Karoq you are talking about was the left hand drive version from Czech. It will come to India, no doubt, but the timeline is a little iffy. Possibly late 2018 or early 2019. But can't say for sure.
I would rather buy The Kodiaq when I've choose between the sedan and the SUV. With all the Aces and capabilities in The Kodiaq, It's a Good Buy rather than spending more bucks on the German SUVs. Though Kodiaq doesn't gives the Best of All three Segment ( 4*4 SUV, Sedan, 7 seater), No other Carmaker comes close to it's competition at this price point. I am just overwhelmed by the Ace features of this Luxury 4*4 7 Seater SUV. It's luxurious, it's premium looking ( In and Out), Boasts load of features ( which fortuner and endeavor misses out), 4*4, A 7 seater. Well, that said, it ticks all the requirements ( and features even more) which I was dreaming of in a SUV. I would upgrade to the Kodiaq rather than the Premium Sedans from my Polo GT TSI. Hey, wifey, You got our Polo, I'm going for The Kodiaq. Preferably The L&K variant.
@everyone Tell me a guy buys AUDI Q7 why d fuk he will go offroad with that . He will enjoy luxury of vehicle . In case of Kodiaq It’s a luxury is PRETTY Fast in 40LCS budget . Moreover Kodiaq looks FUCKING LOVE when it will go on ONE LANE ROAD it’s HEADLIGHTS in night will be like OMG SO LOVELY ! I rank best 7 SEATER SUV IN THIS WAY 1. Either buy Kodiaq or Endeavour in 33-40lakhs budget 2. Either buy Fortuner or Alturas
Abhishek Mehta As a seven seater, road going model, none really. Buy, if it's five seats you want and road going nature, I'd say the Superb is a much better buy.
I accept that it is luxurious in and out but we r missing the whole point here.if it is called an suv it should be built to conquer terrain.fortuner and endeavour r way ahead in terms of off-road .
IF THIS CAR COME IN THE SIZE OF FORTUNER OR ENDAVOUR WITH THE SAME FEATURES AS IT IS PROVIDING.THE BS 6 WILL BE THE BEST OPTION BUT IF IT ALSO GETS 2.2 OR MORE BIG ENGINES THEN THIS WILL BE THE BEST .SAY 2.2lt 198HP AND 480Nm OF TORQUE.CLAIMING THE FUEL EFF. OF 12.5KM/LT ON CITY DRIVING CONDITIONS AND A BIT MORE ON HIGHWAYS.THEN THIS WILL BE THE TOUGHEST COMPETITOR AMONG ALL IT'S RIVALS.THE PRICE OF 42 TO 45LACS ON ROAD.WILL COMPETE WITH FORTUNER ,ENDAVOUR N THE WHOLE LOT COMING IN NEAR 4 TO 6 MTHS.
Superb has the same engine, is obviously lighter but gets more power. WTF logic Skoda? Decisions like these will make sure you keep underperforming in India. Underpowered, bad suspension, rear seats do not have adequate thigh support. The only great thing is the steering is really light, which is required for such a heavy car. Hyundai Tucson gets more power and is lighter. But back seat under thigh support is bad. Ignoring the price point, Tata Hexa has THE BEST SUSPENSION of all SUVs. PERIOD. But it's steering is way too heavy for city. Also under thigh support in Hexa is great.
Fortuner n endeavour iske samne kuch bhi nhi ...this car is fabulous
To be very simple Kodiaq is an Audi Q7 for low budget crowd, and also much more good looking 😉😉😉

Which is better kodiaq or endeavor
In 1 road pressents
2 offroading and racing
3 safety
4 driving control
5 for comfort traveling
6 interior and engine quality
aKkUzzZz Z Endeavour for off-road. But otherwise for the city ,highway and general well being, the Kodiaq.
Except offroading kodiaq is way above endeavour.
Really enjoyed this review - as a family all rounder, it's definitely swayed me. Will be booking a test drive in soon.
Great job!

Girish Chanda Thanks Girish! Appreciate your kind words.
Girish Chanda Ford endeavour has 190 bhp
Good review. I have a Skoda Superb L&K .... This seems a lot much more practical for my use.

Rajat Trehan you are right but skoda does not have much brand value than Toyota
I drive this car even though you are right about luxury it is still underpowered with only 150 BHP. It is much slower while overtaking and from 0-60 compared to my TSI Jetta
@@princereddy4887 you can't compare a 7 seater to a sedan. You can compare it with only the competition ie endeavour, Fortuner and the alturas
@@pradnyeshsuryawanshi7077 I know we cant compare an SUV to a Sedan but you expect certain amount of power and excitement when you plonk 40+ big ones

Great video! Genuinely loved it! Covered all the points! Keep it up Carwale! :)
Vineet Palkar Thanks Vineet. Glad to know you enjoyed it.
Nice video :) Can this car be compared with Volvo XC60 ?
Roopam Paul I had the same question in mind. XC 60 is 15L more pricey. But if you are able to afford it, and planning for a long term use definitely go for the XC 60. Price of top model ?
At this price what's better then ???
Is the 2.0 TDI with 150 bhp engine good enough for the Kodiaq with a Kerb Weight of 1,800 Kgs or does it feels like the engine is underpowered ?
Ashish Doshi Hi Ashish. No, it doesn't feel underpowered.
VW group engines perform better on road than paper unlike Toyota and Ford.
@@vikrantsingh123 it does not feel underpowered due to the excellent DSG gearbox. But the engine is surely underpowered
No sir, the SUV has absolutely fantastic driving abilities in terms of engine, refinement, handling, economy and the like
Which other car would you suggest as the best alternative to the KODIAQ ? Please advice .
Cherian Mathew I would say if you don't need the extra seats, the Tiguan is wonderful. You could also save some money and get the Compass. But for a seven seater, the choice really is quite limited. But I'd say the Endeavour makes a good buy.
Awessssssome Review....Mr Vikrant Singh Sir....it's the best auto review video presentation I believe...kudos to you
08:49 , I smashed the 'Like' button, just one question, you can turn off the traction control entirely?
Btw, loved the tempo of the video..
Aditya Jadhav Hey Aditya! No you can't turn it off completely. But just enough to get the rear to hang out.

Amazing car ! But break lights are so small !! The car is huge and break lights are almost invisible ! Guys from Skoda, put more leds !!
This will challenge the competition. Thumbs up.
Good video editing as well as good information about the product. Good job sir
Shubham Gupta Thank you!
Sir compare kodiaq vs fortuner?
geetika gupta
Kodiaq is better in all aspects
Isn’t the endeavour and fortuner at about the same price, ₹40 lacs. Therefore this would make it a direct rival to those cars.

The music and video is perfectly amazing.
Curious to know the real world fuel economy figures ( 70% City + 30% Highway drive )
ah a lot of what you sre showing are optional extras not included even in its top spec model.
Awesome review!

One of the best car review

The kodiaq is comparable to the BMW x3 and Mercedes glc
Skoda India me success nhi hai India me is price range me sirf Fortuner hi market leader hai
