- SC On Kolkata Case | On September 9, the Supreme Court, led by CJI DY Chandrachud, addressed the Kolkata doctor's rape and murder case. The court ordered protesting doctors to return to work by 5 pm on September 10 or face potential adverse action. The Bengal government reported 23 deaths due to the protests. The SC directed CBI to submit a fresh report by September 17, highlighting issues with evidence handling and delays.

Supreme court first focus on rg kar doctors death case,justice to be done as early as possible by giving the punishment to culprits but not on doctors strike.
Don't interfere in wb sc, our High court is better than any vested interest so-called supreme court
State can ask the central government to deploy military at the hospitals to provide security and install more reliable cameras. After doing all this, then ask the doctors to come back to work. Also, let the CBI to do their work.
Common people are not at all disturbed with this peaceful protest. They are more bothered about the politics and political goons !!
This is a very heavy decision by Supreme court asking doctors to stop protest...Why not asking Mamta govt to give an affidavit that all demands will be fulfilled in a specific time

If 21 people have died then the Mamata Government is responsible for this fully. Doctors can not work in the midst of threatening and without security. WILL SUPREME COURT BE RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING BAD HAPPENS TO THEM LIKE AS HAPPENED IN CASE OF LADY TRAINEE DOCTOR MOUMITA DEBNATH.

I think CBI is taking its time to bring matters to a prosecuting stage. This will help BJP to keep their agenda alive. Probably the samples will be sent by the slowest most deviant route possible.As per statement by CBI issued some time ago, there is only One perpetrator. So why are they not charging him. They are going overboard to prove that the dean was corrupt connected embezzled etc etc. what has that got to do with the actual crime. Deans corruption can not be clubbed with the rape trial. Anyway that's the way I see it.
The investigation was handed over 5 days later and the crime scene was corrupted , the state government is hand in gloves with the accused and you can imagine the level of cooperation from state government to CBI.
