Great setup, I agree with all of your choices. I have the 16-35GM MK1 but usually just carry the 20mm 1.8 or the 14mm 1.8 for weight savings. I also carry the 2.0 Tele Convertor for the 70-200 MKII. For bodies I have A7IV, FX3, and A7SIII. I usually bring the A7IV and FX3 and sometimes the A7SIII with 90mm 2.8 for specific cases. For non-hiking events I usually take the Tamron 35-150, but depends on the specific situation. For wildlife I use the Sigma 150-600. For drones I also use the Air 3 or sometimes the Mini 3 Pro.
Excellent overview of your gear. Shorter walkabouts I will take the Sony a74 and the Sony 70-200 is on nit most of the time. Landscape it’s the 16-35. Longer walkabouts it’s all about the weight. I am 69 with bad knees. So it’s the Olympus OM-1 and the smaller lighter lens. The air 3 works well the scout a path as well. Footage is okay but d-log M and XAVC-S-II can be difficult to grade together.
It’s pretty clear to me that camera batteries are pretty safe. But I’d still prefer their storage on the outside of the pack where they’re easily accessed.
@ show how you create your videos like you do your TH-cam videos. I actually learn a lot watching your videos, but I was disappointed in the courses. One thing I do know is you create great content.
I will probably switch to Sony soon but if you count all the gear together the money you have to pay is soooooo much money.(even without the a9). Especialy if you have to buy it in Europe and pay in Euro...a Richmans Hobby.
@@clausstahl5413 yeah but how much cheaper!? And are you talking about newer cameras, I guess cameras in general, but I have looked up some shop online and let’s say for a Sony A7RV it is almost the same price as here in Canada. To be worth it that means the price would need to be at least $2000 less than over here.

Now if you go to Mount Bromo and bring your DJI Air 3 back, you have to pay 127 USD to use it there, that's crazy
Is it have a water bladder compartment?
Yes
You’re TH-cam videos are 100x better then the courses. The courses need updating.
I’m actually planning on updating some courses in 2025. Anything specific you’d like to see?

Don’t buy it in Europe. For the savings you can have a holiday in Thailand, Hong Kong or Singapore 😉
@@pascalbasel how much cheaper?
@ Depends on the country. It’s mostly the tax difference. You can check the prices online.
Yes it's cheaper but be carefully. If something is wrong with the gear it's not that easy with warrenty.
