Ep. 3 | New Friends & The Final Stretch | Not Alone | Woodvale Challenge Transatlantic Solo Row 2010

The final stretch of Peter's solo row across the Atlantic was super tough. The weather had really played havoc him and the counter-currents were becoming intolerable. To add to this, the isolation was starting to take its toll. But Peter made friends with some fish and Simon, a juvenile Storm Petrel and had meetings with two other rowing boats. Will he make it to the finish to meet up with his wife, Kim and daughter, Hannah.
Peter says, "This is a story of the most amazing team I have ever put together. It's about friendship, love, loneliness, fear, triumph, tragedy, pain, storms, birds, fish, passion, purpose and "Nyamezela" (perseverance).
