How do African Americans get out of generational poverty? I don’t think rap and pro sports are going to lift up the masses. Seriously, I don’t see a solution unless there is a culture change
The solution is unity and a black & brown coalition, but most people aren't ready for that. When we humble ourselves and unite with other groups, our culture will change and we will become a greater force. We can't fix our problems on our own. The problem is tribalism and the made-up 'Blk' identity that was forced upon us in the 1600's.

@@dianealbrecht496 So how do we fix our education system?... How do we educate people who don't want to be educated?... A cultural change is the only way more BP would value education.
A tough place all around. In 2023 Oakland, CA, had only a handful more homicides. This is a town of 150,000 versus everyone's idea of a city you don't want to visit, Oakland at 450,000. Jackson last year had twice the number of homicides as San Francisco. What a sad scene at 1:28
Love that the linemen weren't even using city issued vehicles, that's just Jamar's truck. Probably not even linemen, just fed up citizens taking matters into their own hands lmfao

How does it work in America !!? Is it a case of if you are unemployed you dont get your garbage removed, or get streets cleaned or repaired by local authority/ council, even if you are unemployed through no fault of your own such as there being no jobs and the politicians doing nothing to bring work to the area.

I’m from Jackson, put People’s Funeral Home in your GPS. This area is off of E. Fortification before the tracks. I recognize that plant, because we used to pass it every Sunday morning going to church in the 80s.
This is definitely Jackson,I’m originally from there and drove these same streets all the time.I moved away in the early nineties before the city became like this.I worked at the Toysrus on 80 when the MetroCenter was the place to be in the 80s and early 90s.Drugs started coming into the city big time and the rest is history.
The birds and wildlife are loving it
Seems like a lot of the residents really take pride in what they have even if it is next to a dump.
