omfg too much thermal compound xD
Dude you are more amateur than I am. Too many screws on the cover, the fan has an order you started with number 5 and forgot to put paste on the GPU.
Is there a higher rpm fan option for this unit? I have an e6530 with 3740qm. I'm idling at 55C and nearly 100C under load. The fan never stops, even at idle.
After i replaced fan on my dell latitude e6430,It said fan malfunction...I'm desperated,I tried bios update, load deafult from bios, but nothing..it don't work anymore...I need your help, please, thanks in advance.
Stop Saying Screws 🤢🤨🤢🤢🤢
The thermal paste is ussually dozed at the size of one grain of rice. Then due to pressure, the thermal compound spreads to the contact area providing a thin enough heat conductive layer of thermal paste. If the luft is too high, use thermal pads. They are thicker and provide thermal conductivity also.
Agree, way to much, but good instructions on how to get to the cpu.
is the heatsink replacement the same in e6410? my fan is malfunctioning and not running at times.
also why is a heat gun not used on the board. I thought you had to use one. because on the ps3 i did.
Here is the manual for the E6410. www.parts-people.com/blog/category/dell-latitude-repair-manuals/latitude-e6410/heatsink-fan-latitude-e6410/ And this repair does not require a heat gun.
Can the fan be replaced without replacing the heat sink?
No, it's all one unit.
o need to remplace mine is too slow not enough power for the cooler
