One of the things I love most about your build videos is the creative ideas. That bar you created is a thing of beauty and it is not even finished! I love to sit and watch you build wondering when you start what you are making. And then getting to a certain point when the penny drops and that "thing" reveals itself.
It's always so interesting to see how different people rebuild a post-apocalyptic world. No matter the differing strategy or aesthetics, there's always a shared commonality of love, kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness, and care in the effort.
Thank you! Having a plan for a settlement always sounds grander than the truth, which is I follow the SarDeliac method of slinging pieces together and seeing what happens… Sometimes works out great but more often than not I end up scrapping a lot of what I initially build and making multiple attempts at certain structures or layouts, but then again I never show people ‘those’ builds .😳🤣
I love Fallout 4, I have been building for YEARS. Having said that, you, my friend, are a Wasteland genius! You're laying technique is a thing of beauty. Subscribed!
Welcome and thanks! Great to hear you are enjoying the building series, hopefully you’ll also check out the finished tours to see these builds all furnished and decorated.
Thanks! Making good progress on getting this place all decorated so hopefully I won’t have to keep people waiting too long for the finished tour and blueprint 🤞😅. Thanks for posting your update regarding the tree issue, would never have guessed Workshop Rearranged would cause problems so hopefully it might help others if they have the same issue. I have used it myself in the past and as it allows you to build a lot of vanilla objects, I am guessing it somehow conflicts with their Form ID’s.
Great to hear you are looking forward to it! Just putting some finishing touches to the build and hopefully the wait for the finished tour won’t be too long 🤞😁.
It does vary on the size of the settlement (and how much trouble the location gives me 😅), but typically the first ‘rough’ version of each settlement takes around 20-30 hours. I’ll then rebuild the settlement in segments based on that ‘rough’ version for the build vids. While practicing each segment before recording I find I often tweak or rework things from that initial build, so although time consuming feel it helps to improve the final finished build.
Always felt that taking back and repairing Quincy should have been part of the Minutemen questline and would make an awesome build site. Easy City Downs is a cool location and would have loved to been able to do more there (running and making caps from robot racing would have been cool), along with University Point, Natick, Salem and the Charles River Dam and Lock.
You didn't ask me, but love the question! Corvega kills me! I want Corvega SO bad. It makes no sense not to take that massive auto factory that pretty much survived nuclear annihilation in pristine condition and that still offers electricity and working plumbing while filled with tons of space and resources. Same could be said for Beantown Brewery. In fact, I'd just like to take the whole of Lexington. Just think... Mystic Pines. What gives with Mystic Pines? Great settlement sight! Solid brick building with most doors and windows still in-tact, a central walled open area for safe gardening and it offers a greenhouse! As if that weren't enough, it pretty much already offers everything. It's like a mini castle. If I really get to thinking about it... there's SO MANY places I'd love to take and kills me that I can't. For instance, I also want Gunner's Plaza and Fallon's Department Store. And completely agree about Quincy. Just in terms of storyline it'd have been great to take Quincy. And... Big John's Auto Salvage. Can you imagine? Huge place. Tons to scrap. Complete with a bricked shop and massive house. And pretty much every military/government Bunker sight. What gives with Fort Hagen? Why? WHY can I not take Fort Hagen? And screw Coadtal Cottage! Give me the nearby plant made of solid concrete! Anyway, thanks for giving me the opportunity to vent. This has clearly bothered me for a long time and moreso than I even realized. 😊

Glad to hear you liked it and greatly appreciate the very kind words, many thanks! 🙏😊

Glad to hear you found the build interesting, thanks! 👍😁
This is so good. I’m always amazed by you’re plans for a settlement.

I love it ! such an amazing work again can't wait to see the final result !
Thanks! Really pleased with how this turned out and just finishing up the decoration, so hopefully the final tour wont be far off 🤞😁.
I just love this. Very nice build.
Can't wait to see the finished project.
By the way, thank you again for the Elm tree in Sanctuary!

The view from that bar is amazing! Awesome build, thanks for sharing!
I am glad you liked it, thanks! 🙏😁
A nice place to relax and have a nuka-cola with the boys after a long day of scavenging
Cheers! 🍻😁
Best gray garden I’ve ever seen
Thanks! Hopefully you’ll also enjoy seeing the place when it’s all furnished and decorated in the upcoming finished tour 😁
I cannot wait to see the completed tour
Great to hear you are looking forward to it! Just putting some finishing touches to the build and hopefully the wait for the finished tour won’t be too long 🤞😁.
Just beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
I’m always waiting for these videos
Hope you enjoyed it! 😁👍
I always wonder, how long do you spend planing these builds?

Not counting the official settlement sites, where do you want to build?

@@FiddleflapsVids The Natick Power Station would be perfect site for you to rebuild! Just tread lightly due to Behemoth and Deathclaws in the area.
@@Quadratojugal lol, I guess the local residents and wildlife of Natick would make for an interesting if slightly dangerous build site 😱😅

@@lauriedavies6183 All excellent choices! Maybe because it would break quests? I will investigate.
Did you use a MOD to get the pieces to blend into each other?
Yes, I use the Place Everywhere mod to build - www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9424
ahh.. a proper slum..
Thanks! 👍
Hey so what mod do you use to go outside of the birder and it not kick you out, I looked through the mod list but couldn't find it
