To me this feels like something actually happening. Like we are actually in that school. Not like a production. Production is in their company title and they produce great series. This one feels less like a production and more like we are actually there. In real life, chemistry isn't always visible or perfect and young people are so awkward. To me it is not like actors with perfect chemistry as if BLs are "supposed to" be for always highlighting only perfectly enticing chemistry on display and if step out of that formula of how BLs are supposed to be, then it is possible to allow awkwardness. I guess if slightly "awkward" types of teenage chemistry or behavior are never seen in lead roles, then it would be like "chemistry" has to be perfect because a "real star" is the only thing we should strive to be like in real life. I felt that if many people look back on their high school days, they just didn't have perfect star quality in their every move and that messed up their chemistry sometimes with their crushes. And so in this high school the chemistry is more of a "thing" in the bullies. And like that meant that the reality of that was inevitably going to mess up all of the others because that is it as in what the goal of bullies is. So the others are shown struggling with that plus sometimes overcoming it. That even kept oddly making me realize how much pressure there is to be a certain way that is how a star is supposed to be in order to be liked. How can I STILL have that pressure not cleared out if I am 62? High School values are all about that thing and status and it seems societies never leave that all while it remains miserable for many people to keep an invisible jury inside to make sure we have star quality in our every moment. And in this high school there can be no stars besides the invisible teenage judge that gives this its name. In an atmosphere like this everything must keep repressed. It reminded me that months long stays I experienced in the remote towns of Guatemala brought me into a very different life than that I grew up with. And the Teenage Judge idea and title has inspired solutions maker ability to help in mysterious sparks people might get. Aha's to solve messes.
