I couldn't agree with your more with its excellence. However, it ties with the version by Raphael Siddiq, as a matter of fact - I almost thought Charles Clark was the same guy who accompanies him on his version! It must be noted that, on the original, G.C. Cameron does leads on the entire song!
What a great job! I loved everybody, wonderful singing and a tight band. I was especially impressed by the bass player, who is able to play a difficult bass line and sing simultaneously. I'm a bass player and I can't even remember to breath when I'm trying to play that bass line.

Have seen the Spinners many times over the last 30 years and this is simply Perfection!!! Have you ever wondered "why" cover bands over the last several decades Never do this Fabulous Huge Spinners hit?? Too Difficult to both sing and play!!! The Spinners themselves went through several front man vocalists over the years but still often had trouble with the very high vocal "reaches", sustains, etc. in this so powerful, audience grabbing Stevie Wonder chart buster. These truly amazing guys make it look easy!!! You will never see anyone do it better........ Congratulations guys!!!!!
