Looking forward for the following video!!!! Thanks for sharing! One of the reasons that i like your videos is that they realistic!!! In all of my projects i had too make preparations on my wood and i actually like it but it's time and physically consuming and in most of all the videos of the pro wood working tubers it's not even mentioned!! Unless someone prepared the wood for you....
Thanks, glad you like the content I'll keep it coming
Great point regarding nerve damage because of machine vibrations. I've noticed that as I age it takes longer and longer for my nerves to calm down. Weed eaters and repetitive router operations are the main villains .
Looking good mate..
Thanks 👍
Brilliant work, really looking forward to the resin pour, also your views on the te@ck saw, great job!
Thank you very much!
Can’t wait to see the half copper half clear! Should look awesome
Pretty fantastic job, John! It's looking great! 😃
Looking forward to the next video!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks 👍
Dear John, thank you for showing this video. That’ll be a nice table!!! Many Greetings
Susanne
Great project John, looking forward to the build unfolding, nice one.
No safety glasses were harmed in the making of this video!
Good work John!
That track saw looks to be a beast! Do you like it?
I love the ease of set up with mine.
Stay safe mate.
So far so good with it, as a tool a track saw is brilliant
Nice one John. Looking forward to the next session.
Coming along great John. Looking forward to the next instalment
Really interesting video mate. You've been making some great content! I really enjoyed your video series on the dust extraction system. I live up North around Belfast so I'm still getting used to watching a TH-camr that's only a few hours drive away from me. :P Hope you're staying safe mate. Hopefully we can all go out and get a pint soon. XD
Looks great already, nice work!
Another great project to watch and learn
Glad you enjoyed it
Looking forward to seeing the end result of this. Clear resin in the rot areas is a great idea. Also looking forward to a review of that Bosch beauty.
amazing work bud
I use the rockler hose kit with a Makita 36V track saw. The hose kit works well. It’s not perfect but I think you’d benefit from it.
Great video John, like the new track saw have a Makita 36v myself they are great tools
Great work John and nice ideas with resin choices 👍
Thanks 👍
Id say that was torture with that little router bit🤣. Im thinking of making a small bar counter top like this, looking forward to the next video. Best of luck with the tracksaw, theyre a great investment. Ya should get a sheet of high density insulation for your benchtop to cut on, handier than setting up on the floor and easier on the spine.
Amazing John!!! Mind the fingers though....
Great Job John. Looks like a lot of cutting with that same bit. Did you sand the slab after leveling it. Looking forward to next video.
I didn't sand it I'll do that after the resin is done
nice video, but why did you bild the deep box for the router?? it just makes it harder to work :)
you could be right
Don’t touch me lucky charms 🍀
That'll look amazing when done. What type of legs are you thinking of putting under it.
Not sure yet working with a couple of ideas
@@JohnMcGrathManInShed I think some black gun barrel pipe to go with you're electrical background.
John would this jig work to flatten blanks for turning
Its really only for large boards that won't fit through a planner.
Would you recommend gorilla glue over any of the titebond PVAs
I've had no issues with it and its available to me locally so that's why I have it but I wouldn't claim its better then Titebond.
Good video to watch John but you are turning to the dark side 😉 with all these posh tools, you'll be buying a CNC next.keep well. Regards Jim.
I would love a CNC lol
Can see how pissed off you get at the 16 minute mark, wishing you had the milling bit
