Trump was lying the whole time. Acosta is correct. Countries such as South Korea and Germany have a much better testing system in place. They are able to fight the pandemic easier because they can see the enemy's progress with massive testing protocols. Edit: The amount of people commenting that Jim Acosta is "challenging" the president with "tough" questions is AMAZING to me. I would wager that most of these people haven't seen any of the press conferences, and if they have, it was solely on CNN or MSNBC.
Jim is not "challenging" anyone, certainly not Trump. To those who say it's because you can't pick and choose who is in the room, I almost had to pee from laughing so hard at that ignorance. First of all, they CAN control who is in the room. People are granted IDs that allows them to attend. And for individual news organizations, there are a select few who can attend. Jim Acosta is ONE of the people that CNN grants that permission to. But if you act like a child and show absolute disrespect towards the president, they can and have kicked people, recently Jim himself, out of the room and told to not come back. And just in case anyone reads this and says Obama never did it...Well, he has in fact called Fix News destructive and openly attacked Fox News on several occasions.
Anyone acting a fool, most notably Jim Acosta, should be placed with his nose in the corner and given a timeout until he can act like a big boy.
How pathetic is it that people are acting (and defending) in this shameful way. I’m a nurse and early March we didn’t have any masks. We finally got them mid March but had to reuse them for a month.

And it almost feels that they like each other sometimes. There has definitely been a shift in Jim's emotions to become more positive and respectful toward Trump.
