gorgeous, talented, magical.. the world hasn't lost its magic after all. Thanks for the music, thanks for the dance, thank you Clay, who introduced me into this fantastic music. Liz
I went to this as an extra credit thing for my Ethnomusicology class back in my hometown at the Gallo Center, and I fell in love with it. I literally wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did. I love river dancing and celtic music. Makes me happy.
saw it live in jacksonville lastnight and they left every thing they had out on the satge with a standing ovation. these young ladies and gentlemen went well beyond what i was expecting without michel there.
Das ist das schönste, was ich je auf der Flöte gehört habe. Ich freue mich schon auf die Show wenn sie im April in Hamburg sind. Das kann ich den ganzen Tag hören. Vielen Dank dafür!!!!!!!!!!!!!
most relaxing music out there. it can make you smile in seconds. It makes you feel like your floating on air. I absolutly love it. I love having Irish blood in me. :)
One of my goals in life has become to visit Ireland and listen to live irish/celtic music. It is so fantastic - I salute all irish singers and dancers!! May the Lord take good care of you all. To Edanargu: Thank you very much for sharing - it's a great tribute you've made.
Woa-Love this song!! Just googled the sound track on Amazon. Didn't even think to purchase the soundtrack before, Thanks for posting this clip!! I live in NYC where thousands of Irish/Americans gather for the St. Patricks Day Parade and rarely do you see any Irish, Irish/American, drunk or disorderly. These people clearly don't know what they're talking about. I hope to have the opportunity and privilege someday to visit Ireland.
Very inspired the makers of the "Lord of the rings". To use this kind of music and this kind of landscapes... It makes you wish to visit Ireland - seams like a dreamland.
I absolutely must find the Dragon Balls, I need to make a wish: "I want to revive Irish.. :D" A big kiss to all the Irish from Sicily... You are the best!
Thank you THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU VERY MUCH I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE MUSIC LONG TIME, JUST THE MUSIC IF U HAVE MORE PLS POST !! THANK YOU A LOT
Wow, isn't that nice! The music is wonderful and magical. I used to watch this over and over again years ago. I find I still enjoy it, and could spend a lot of time watching it again. It's wonderful. I have Feet of Flames, and I would like to get the new CD/DVD of his latest show. Michael is doing so well. Also, he now has a beautiful blonde wife and an adorable boy.:)
This piece of music uses as its motif the melody from Simple Gifts, a Shaker song originally written in 1848, in America. It works pretty well, turned into an Irish tune.
@GIRLxxOFxxMUSIC haha i remember spending my vacation over ireland, it indeed was rainny, nevertheless one of the pretiest places i've ever been in my life ^^ loved seeing all those plains with little mountains and clouds projected on the vast grass ^^
Am I the only one who knew the song from singing it at school as a hymn first then as the Michael Flatley's lord of the dance? Any way the song is "Simple Gifts" with different words. That's existed for hundreds of years as a quaker song, Lesley Garret(sp?) remade it a few years ago.
