This is completely wrong. It is no wonder why there is no Wawrinka's backhand in the video, cuz he does not open the racket, and his one hander is best one by far. For best shoulder rotation, non hitting hand should keep head of the racket in front of the handle for as long as possible while strings are very closed. This secures more powerful shot and greater racket's head speed.
@@DeltoidBeast and also way more stability, starting withe the face open makes it way more likely to accidentally contact the ball with an open racquet face like think about a forehand if you tried to open the racquet face on that it would just sail most of the time

@@colinbyer3018 Exactly! Strings on forehand are never opened, and same goes for the backhand.
