In this video I go over the Noise Reduction tool in Davinci resolve to make your videos look more cinematic. I go over the technique in Davinci Resolve and showcase how I use it. You make me wish I had resolve studio so I can use the noise reduction. I'll get it one day, and when I do I'm sure I'll remember this tutorial, as its very useful. All of the videos that you've put out on this channel have been exceptional, maybe you can be sponsored by blackmagic one day, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

I wish he would have explained the difference between luma and chroma noise
chroma noise is the colour noise that you see in digital cameras. Luma noise is when it looks a bit grainy, but more of a gray texture thing. Personally, I think chroma noise looks worse, but its better to have neither. And yeah the panel he was using is one of the colour tabs but its only available in the paid version. I think there are work around, I've heard there might be a noise reduction in the free version in fusion, but its less intuitive than finding it in the colour page.

Such a cool channel so glad I stumbled across this! Can you recommend the best lower budget camera for dynamic range? It’s cool filming in 4k and trying to have a high frame rate but clips just always come out too contrasting.

Shooting a great video is good but without a good colour grade it's just a diamond thats not yet discovered
Nice tutorial - But i would rather go with the noise than those artifacts... I think these artifacts are ruining a footage more than noise, especially if someone is shooting in 10 bit. Thats my personal point of view at this topic.
