Yeah it's a good design, with some tweaks it could be great. I think they built this for the Cowboys' Jimmy Johnson. Im not sure if they offer this model anymore, since they have a new 45 hull.
What a lovely boat. Never be able to afford one but I am however a boat builder :) If you have the schematics I would love to build a mini 17-20ft copy plywood, fibre glass epoxy sheathed. With those beautiful lines and excellent use of space a small version would smash the warrior and raider designs here in the U.K out of the water. Well presented by the sales man as well.
Love the sleeping arrangements they put down there, very smart. I just don't need it. I have researched for over a year to upgrade from my 31' CC and I still think the 370Z is the best in class. Just barely don't have space for the 390Z. I can't move away from the cc either they are really such fishing machines and so nimble that an inboard sport fishing boat isn't so appealing!

That's 7-8 with power? Would have liked a wider view of the boat but $800k with power is less than I'd thought. Add $200k in power and it's $1m boat which is what I figured it'd be.
Just so you know, the swing out door is super stable. It is mounted on huge SS hinges and also has a locking mechanism. Additionally, water does NOT come in/out when door is open. It does not swing in/out on its own and is an excellent addition. I believe it is designed to swing out In order to maintain the integrity and strength of overall design. - Capt Mike
No the boat is not unsinkable. That is why he avoided the question. Strange that it has to swing out to maintain its integrity when most boat builders of CC doors can swing in. An out swings doors is usless as you cant use it after docking
I recommend taking a very close look at both and sea trailing both boats. Consider resale value, user experiences, service, etc. Then make an educated decision. Congrats on your new SeaVee! - Capt Mike

Reference their sea chest. They made a major mistake. They put the pumps inside the sea chest. They need to be on the outside of the sea chest.
