There is a shop called "Balindo" in 1333 St. Georges Avenue, Colonia - New Jersey, you can find out about this shop because they sell authentic Indonesian food and snacks. And also they accept delivery orders.
@JennieDian not really, the level of spiciness may be adjusted to suit American tongues but maybe the taste is still authentic, it's just that the level of spiciness is different from what is available in Indonesia.

Kuliner warisan dan tradisi Indonesia sangat melekat di negara Belanda.. Makanan Indonesia sangat kaya akan rempah dan rasa..But be careful for those who don't like spicy food... try it first.👍💯%🇮🇩
I was an au pair in Amsterdam years ago. The lady was Indonesian. After a couple of weeks, I couldn't zip up my jeans anymore. Indonesian cuisine is just out of this world! Though ... a little rich!
Satay Indonesian Grill - Located in Edison, NJ. Sate House - Located in Jersey City, NJ. Tenda Asian - Located in Edison, NJ. Warung Pojok - While it’s more well-known in New York, it also has locations around New Jersey.
Because of the colonial era, many Indonesian dishes were influenced by Dutch food, and vice versa, many Dutch dishes were influenced by Indonesian cuisine. Of course, they’ve both been adapted to fit the tastes and styles of each country.
I had an Indonesian colleague from Singapore and she often brought a small plastic bag with tiny green chili peppers as a snack. I only tasted a tiny piece of the tip and it literally burned my tongue and palate. Spicy food can be really delicious , but if it is too spicy, it becomes a torture. Above all, you will feel it again the following day at the latest, just one level below... lol🤣🤣😲😖💥🌶🌶
Indonesian products are also available in Dutch supermarkets. Dutch people cook different dishes at home almost every day and eat varied. One day Dutch, then Italian, then Indonesian, then Surinamese, then fish, then something else, etc. Ask an average Dutch person on the street if he can name Indonesian dishes, I think 6 out of 10 Dutch people know Indonesian dishes.
They will never allow back into Italy when they'll see this comment; but Indonesian and Indo-Chinese cuisine is unmatched! Italian and Greek/Turkish are divine as well, but not like the South East Asian.
400 Indonesian restaurants in NL must be the authentic ones. The Chinese restaurants doing Indo-Chinese fusion food for a low price and doing take away have been all over the country since the 1950s. In the 80s and 90s every village over 3000 souls would have one. All family businesses buying fake Chinese interiors from the same factory in Utrecht, all mostly similar menus too. It was almost McDonalds like. There are still lots left in the country side. But it isn't as good as authentic Indonesian, it's a different market, still much better than the whole new level the ethnic Dutch took Indonesian tastes too. Lower levels that is, you can get 3 sticks of frozen satey in peanut sauce for less than 70 eurocents in any supermarket here. The rice table was the only good idea for Indonesian food from the Dutch.
Am from the Netherlands, Netherlands never colonized Indonesia for 350 years .. Back then Indonesia didnt yet exist. There were kingdoms who fought each other. About the Indonesian restaurants, trust me Indonesian restaurants in Netherlands aint autenthic. Only warung padang lapek jo is for me the best

Spices are what historically connect the Netherlands and Indonesia. And now it's also the Indonesian cuisine.
