[Background]
"Party and Bullshit" is a song by American hip hop artist The Notorious B.I.G., credited as BIG. The song is the artist's debut single and was released as the fourth promotional single for the soundtrack to the 1993 film Who's the Man?.
The refrain "party and bullshit" was inspired by the song "When the Revolution Comes" by spoken word artists The Last Poets, however Wallace changed the meaning in his rap. Abiodun Oyewole of The Last Poets explained, "When we rapped, it was all about raising consciousness and using language to challenge people. When I wrote [about] 'party and bullshit' it was to make people get off their ass. But now 'party and bullshit' was used by Biggie, used by Busta Rhymes, but in a non-conscious way." This song was performed at a concert with friend-turned-rival Tupac Shakur in 1993.

Can you imagine.. all of this, out of a millisecond of a fucking piano track. Music is an intense experience.
Easy Mo Bee does not get the props he deserves, people need to put some respect on his name for the classic joints he produced.
He might be up there with Dre
Thank you for this. Dope Bside joint that the world barely heard
Thank you! this is debut single!
@@the_moment_work i never knew that! I would have sworn it was something else but after doing the research, I found out you werr right! What a debut!

Best song i ever heard
I remember I found a mixed tape back in the winter of 93 or 94, maybe it was 95 but I think it was 93/94, and this track was on it. Miss those days drinking wild Irish rose and that 40oz with the Indian inside the label.
Another classic 🏆🎵🎶 Real Job Real Spirit 🙏
Thank you!
The beginning of a legend right here! 😤
I heard Party & Bullshit first from the Lord Finesse version!! I had always thought it was the original!! I still like Lord Finesse's version better!! Anyway, I love the sample uploads!!👊🏾💯
