I have heard similar things from some of my friends who have been to Hongkong.
Especially that people are not that helpful and are rude 😒
And Language problem definitely makes it worst.

Log to rude hai waha ke .Been once for work....Indian Restaurants hai but yes local food is not at all veg.
Homgkong is the 4th most populated place globally.
Many people Immigrate from mainland China also.
More people less space makes it really crowded.
