This is something to which any experienced performing musician can relate - at least, those who don't just play for money but for the delight of playing. Look at the smiles. Think of how the audience is like a student granted the privilege of sitting on the stage next to the master - welcomed as participants and not as spectators. That is what the performing of music is all about.
I once attended a Santana concert at a university during the summer when most of the students had gone. It took place in a 500 seat auditorium with only a meager 150 people in the audience. It was a stellar performance and with the third encore (three encores for an audience of 150 people) the warm-up act (Freddie King) came out and they jammed for another 45 minutes - all for the sheer joy of playing. And the audience was right there with them in the same way as in this video.
By the way, Santana is Latino, King was black, and the audience was white. Music unites the hearts. It overcomes all barriers. It can unite the world.
