Hi Heather, can the machine be used without using the digital speed setting? Can the speed be determined through the pressure of yoour feet?

Kind of. You can set the digital speed, but slow it down by not pressing right down on the peddle.

The JACK F4 does not have a thread trimmer, just the A seies.
