The only concert I ever went to was to see Wu, some shit that I thought I never would get to do. However, on the interlude on the Double Disc before Triumph, RZA told NYC about that R&B, Rappin Bullshit and Shiny suit man aka Puffy, that was dominating the airwaves, but nobody listened. Add to that, some of the NYC cats was on that elitist shit, when there were certified MCs out West and in the South with bars, Facemob, Bun B, 3 Stacks, E-40, they wanted to be dismissive. That karma is a cold bitch! But once that template was set by Puffy, put out this bullshit and you going to run the soundscans, niggaz took that and hustled the fuck out of it. Now you don't even have to understand bar structure and can still be topping charts. A damn shame.
