I love good radio, it's amazing how Dave not writing bits became a week long bit! I was always appalled at how Dave had to leave the show, he has always been a pure radio man.
His Dave Letterman protest was one of the funniest O&A/R&F bits. His O&A appearances with “What’s Up East Side Dave’s Butt”, him vs Pat Duffy and Creampie, and him making Bob Kelly puke from shitties then fighting Master Po should’ve been on the level of Jocktober and the Erock Jingles. His Davey Mac Sports Program was the only sports radio worth listening. I can’t begin to understand why Sirius would give random stars hundreds of thousands to speak on music channels barely but not Dave. Except for Tom Petty on his channel. He was actually a lot of fun and seemed to enjoy it.

It's insane how much different Fez sounds in these early clips compared to his last few years on air. It literally sounds like a totally different person.
I think it was a bit. Sometimes I don't. But even Sirius Inept wouldn't have let him keep crying on the air everyday. I think Dez knew he was done after their contract, and they turned it into a bit.
@@ethanbradley2089 I thought so too until the last 2 months when ron blew up on fez and told him he doesn't want to do the show with him anymore and fez cried harder than ever
@@ethanbradley2089 I thought a company wouldn't let that happen either and wouldn't want to pay someone (I assume with a relatively high salary) to not talk very often and cry a lot. Then I heard a clip of Ron Bennington essentially say the management didn't listen to the show so Fez's behaviour wasn't an issue. Also, the staff from Opie and Anthony acted like it wasn't a bit. Obviously I assume Ron and Fez weren't paid as much as Opie and Anthony but it does seem kind of amazing that "on-air talent" could get away with not talking and constantly crying for so long and carry on being paid
I can't decide if I like it or don't that Dave never tried to find out what the strike was actually about before saying 'poor working conditions' for a whole week.
