Dee I love how you look after your parents. Only a daughter can know how to spoil a mum like that. I've been watching you from when you were still starting your TH-cam journey. You've been pampering your mum since then and God blessed you even more for that ut5 didn't affect you. You are a very smart girl please don't allow anyone to influence you to stop looking after your mum. You have taken care of the basics to make sure your mum is comfortable so anything you do now will not be major but everything means a lot to her and God will continue to bless you for that. Never ever stop pampering your mum. As Africans it's embedded in our culture to look after your parents. It's not compulsory and none is expecting you to do so if you are struggling or can't even look after yourself, your parents wouldn't even allow it but when God has blessed you don't close the door to your blessings.

I am a Yardie living in Canada and I take care of my 92 year old Mom
She is doing well and still sharp, walking around, gardening and cooking but it gives me pleasure to show her Love and care.

or “you don’t knowow de ting go”
Don’t leave out the “how” or “ow”
because it actually means “you know HOW the thing goes”
When you say “you don’t know de ting go”
it sounds like a foreigner trying to talk Jamaican”
To sound like a real Yaadie dont leave out the “how”

That suitcase story 12:47 reminds me of a time I went to school without shopping, so normally they used to check the bags, you have one for books and carrier bag for shopping, so the boarding mistress checks my book bag, expects the shopping bag and it is not there. I was so teary, my mum was so broke then, but like a week later, she sent some money as she had promised. God bless her.
