his relationship with Mitzi [since iirc he does think of her as a motherly figure] at the 'chain tied from his neck to around a tree' [the tree being Mitzi]
Of course he gets run over by the hearse, and yeah
i feel like he's indebted to mitzi at the 'kissed the ring on his finger' part and he's sacrificing a lot to her.
originally i thought the lyric was 'and choked himself to eternity' which is why i drew him as being strangled bc y'know chain and all that, turns out it wasn't but the pose still stuck, so oh well
as for why he's a feral cat, i thought it'd make it a bit creepier since we all know him as an anthro cat
the last part is rocky's descent into sin
