Can this motor be speed controlled with a triac switch ?

Weak powered turning force, I think if speed can be reduced more then the power would be too weak to use for anything. Unsure if this is possible anyway.

If I remember it is possible for the shaft to turn even while turned off. No real holding power

Rotate a grilling chicken will most likely not take a lot of turning force. Did not have enough power for what I needed. I would suggest lower voltage motors if possible because they are safer, need power supply though

@@youcandoit8615 you will have to be very careful of any heat getting transferred into the motor. I'm sure there are chicken turners on TH-cam. A shop bought one could be easier, cheaper and safer, IMHO
