MLK Day Spoken Word Event 10 a.m. Session

Join the Mitchell Center for African American Heritage at the Delaware Historical Society for an engaging spoken word event with Nana Ohemaa Asante as we explore how Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy and words ask us to consider the significance of our environment. In honor of MLK’s views on environmental justice, the morning program will connect to the importance of daylight while the evening program will center on the nighttime.
