Giant Mall, Giant Haul! YouTubers Antique Vintage Shopping

- This place is so big, we’ll never see it all! Jocelyn @CrazyLampLady introduces Kate @FollowThatBugVintage and me to Ohio Valley Antique Mall, a Cincinnati area giant that has endless varieties of pottery, watches, jewelry, art glass, toys and boudoir items…and that’s just in the showcases!
We all seem lost in this wonderful world of really good quality vintage and antique variety! Kate discovers the fabulous shine of Herend eosin glaze animals, but chooses a really cool cameo glaze horse by a Brazilian potter instead. I comb the jewelry cases, while Jocelyn inspects a beautiful Lundberg Studios vase.
So many wonderful things to see and learn here! An antique German money belt by a case full of bills serve the notaphilist, while enthusiasts of everything from Blenko glass to Matchbox cars find specialties catering to them. By the time we finally hit the main floor, the piles at the counter are giant sized, and we've only scratched the surface of this place!
Concrete seahorses, angry studio cats, sexy sunglasses and all sorts of colorful and fun items from Hall refrigerator dishes to art glass perfume bottles come with us to delight our customers both online and in the real world. Meanwhile, there's a huge swath of this place still to explore on our next visit!

You make me laugh…inform me…I always make sure to show my husband too because he sells at flea markets! Thank you for all your videos and what we learn from you♥️❤️♥️
Hey George, good to see you out with the girls, Kate & Jocelyn. I see you're clearing out your vault if older videos since this was a winter video. You must be rambling and making deals! ❤❤❤😊
Yes I am! I want to use it up before it's 95 degrees out but I didn't want to do multiple videos in a row from the same place. Fortunately, the antique things have a long shelf life
Hi George! I hope you’re having a lovely summer so far. Take good care. ❤️
Thank you! You too!
Thank you, George. Lots of fun things to see. 🎉
Yes
Hi Kate & Joycelyn! Great to always see both of you…especially with “Brilliant George!!!”
George you the best! Free research! Love it! Thanks so much!
You're so knowledgeable, George! Very fun seeing all these interesting pieces! 🎉
Great to see Kate and Jocelyn. Fun times!
🎉 Great, another from George. Sure am hoping to be with you !
Can't wait! I hope you're able to join us, you are missed
❤ Happy that I was ! Yep , I was surrounded by Rookwood at every turn in our house. Our neighbors had nice bright colors, not us 😂
Thank you George 🎉
U r correct bout spring plate hangers
“Joy buzzer”…you make me laugh at some point in every video!😊
I remember giving a Coppercraft Home Party around 1981, and loved their drinkware sets.
Oh fun! I just put a very overdone 1970s Coppercraft miner's plaque out for sale lol
Great video George! Thanks for sharing!
It's beautiful, and I hope future generations continue to appreciate this piece.
Interesting to see fringe 20th century pieces a lovely guide for those perhaps new to collecting. Thanks George xxx cheri Australia
Great antique mall!
Thanks for letting me tag along and see a store that I have not seen and all the fun things they have there as well. Loved that blue fire king mixing bowl set that would be the one I would have bought. Have a great day and safe travels
Thanks George. From Evansville In, but we are headed to the Ohio Valley Antique Mall in Cincinnati today. I met you at the Greenville Ky flea market a couple of years ago. And hope to catch you at another New Harmony show sometime. You are just so pleasant to watch. I have learned so much!
That bronze elephant was just incredible. I may be a buyer
Great shopping with you, George. 🛒😀
Jocelyn found some great items. I like both of the cats, and that bronze bird is wonderful. ❣️
Lots of pretty vintage things 😀
Lots of great things to see.
Great day of shopping. I would have bought that diamond shaped picture of the fraternal gentleman. I have a place for it. Thanks for taking us along George.
Those restoration knobs etc are a great idea to have in an antique mall
Yes, we used to do some of that in one mall in which I worked. I've often thought a store devoted to all collector aids that did online sales as well could be a big success
Another interesting, informative video. Thank you, Prof Nomad 😊
Love the Shawnee pup. Looks like a Cavalier.
Omg, I thought u said cadaver 😮 glad I took a 2nd and 3rd look 😂
You're right!
Thank you George- Great video- I noticed that all the dealers have the same hang tag... Is the common in large antique malls? So many dealers! Must be heaven
I just love to watch your videos
Thank you, George!❤❤❤
I absolutely love to “go” browsing with you!! Thank you George!!❤
That was a very fun and informative shopping trip! Love all the finds!! ❤
I like what you said don’t just antique shop on line but go to antique shops yourself I do both it does work because you don’t pay shipping and handling fees just your California taxes ❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hello Antique Nomad. Excited to see this💚
Thank you, I'm glad you're having fun with us!
Love this video, George! Nice to see some friends here, too!
Glad you enjoyed it! We did too
liked the bird bronze thingy..
Me too! I wish I knew more about it, reminded me of Austrian Bronze
Lots of interesting facts as usual - thanks !
Hi George ❤ the countdown imagery...trippy.. kinda like my youth...
Lol yes a lot of people say same
😂😂
Two things with nova Scotia on them in a few months that's super cool though the USA and nova Scotia have a lot of connections they were a massive help after the Halifax explosion a lot of people were sent there during the acadian expulsion and the state of Maine was once part of ns!
Black Nova Scotians are descended from some of the slaves that escaped to Canada via the underground railroad during the Civil War.
Yes, that's correct! Not many Americans know that. Nova Scotia is a place I long to see in person
@@TheAntiqueNomad 10/10 would recommend if the opportunity strikes!
George your so knowledgeable about so much stuff love your videos
Had to watch late tonight. Thanks George
Hope you enjoyed it!
❤
Another fun video George. Thanks for sharing!
What a great video and great place!
Thank you very much!
Oh, you have Vera scarf on your shoulder. My mother was a huge fame a Vera scarves. She had a ton of them.
I like the older Vera a lot! Those are collectible now for certain
Hey George! It's after 1:00am, and I'm just now getting to watch. The Barclay, Art Deco brooch and the Judy Lee brooch were really nice. I liked both of those. Was the _Manneken Pis_ figure, at 2:22, an ashtray? I used to have a spelter one that was an ashtray. There was a salesman's sample horse collar/yoke, at 4:04, that caught my attention. I like that kind of thing. I'd use an antique picture frame, build a shadowbox to fit the frame, put the collar in it and use it as a wall hanging. I liked the German skeleton ashtray...just not that "much" 😅 The cat mask you had, during the promotional break, is fantastic! It looks like something you could find in the French Quarter, NOLA. I really liked the International Harvester truck. There was a Victorian wall shelf, at 19:55, next to the shelf with the Metlox piece, that got my attention. I used to have a birdcage and stand almost exactly like the one at 20:39. The only difference I could see was, on the one I had, there were maple leaves on the base. There was a glimpse of an oak hall tree, at 22:47, that caught my eye. It looked like a really pretty one. I could see myself with a wall of those old stove grates...my kind of thing. There was a ton of really nice and interesting items there! Thanks for sharing this with us!
Great information ❤
Great video❤
So informative, love your videos!

Will the U.S have plastic bank notes in the future? 🇬🇧♥️
Was it Ohio Art that made the tin globals? Or were they made by a company with a similar name ?
Rewatching and I think the football teapot looks spaciously similar to a space ship 🚀
Lol it does! Yes, Ohio Art made a lot of the little globe banks
Do you know anything about Barr dollars
I like frog legs
Me too, Lena, I like them more than chicken legs 🐸. Though, the thought of the pulling apart is grossing me out right now 🤮

The Quing Dynasty ended in 1910 ushering in a new era in China during which many American missionaries came to the country and until 1949 when Mao came to power they were able to bring back many collectables some of which have been seen in past episodes of Antiques Roadshow.
Yes, I've run into that a lot in my appraisals as well
Darn it...I need to get down there! I'm only 35 min north of this mall.
What a great Antique mall. Such a variety of things. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
