Man, that thing looks so rad. We never get a chance to see what it looks like in motion, since it's usually on the workstand. It's definite inspiration for all your viewers' custom projects.
Don't lie to us man, you know Flip is always the star! I'd totally take Jenna on the bike, but it may take awhile to get the mighty 750 shadow down from Boston.
Dude I've really enjoyed watching you build the chopper. You inspired me to to do my own work. My wife probably wasn't so happy lol. She said that I messed up my bike. But I told her that I gave it character lol. It's so not comfy now but looks awesome. Great work you did there. Now it just needs a cool 60s/70s paint job
This has been fun to watch. Im currently working on an 83 XV500 and its been a pain in the ass but its also been fun. Currently finishing up making an entirely new wiring harness and removing all of the factory wiring crap. Went from a duel carb setup to a single carb as well.
Shadetree at his very best!! riding bikes haning out with like minded people! Causing unrest to "simcity subburbia" loving it !! Job well done Sir !! plus the bike gets a big old thumbs up from me !! If vagas gonna take odds on U making it to Alabama I'm putting 20 that U make it there and back with no problems !!
So I must have missed a video but I just noticed the skateboard wheel as the chain tensioner and I about choked on my beer!! This thing is totally unique and totally your style !!
Note 1. Billet rear set racy type footrests and levers do not mix with olde skool choppers. Change 'em for something that looks like they were made 30-40 years ago. Note 2. Most entertaining fun video you have made in a long long time. Keep up with the party stuff and laughter.
That lil' chopper is da' Boss !! SO sweet ! Can't wait to see her painted . Good job all ya' all's . Get that guy some proper swigging whiskey , some Unca' Jack !! LOL
Brilliant!! As one of my mentors was fond of saying, "Many a slip 'twixt cup and lip", but I guess that's probably why achievements taste so damn sweet at every milestone. Great to see you enjoying it man, you earned it. 😎
love the idea of Shaun's neighbour going OMG what just moved in.. the wife saying go sort it out (lets call her Karen ) and the husband (Nigel) responding well maybe but lets not do it today......
There was a moment at the end where i was looking at the tank and then your shadetree surgeon logo came up. That would look Awesome either airbrushed on the tank or engraved on the gas cap 😁
I rode one of these stock 650 Yamahas from 1980 to 1985. It only has a wire mesh screen for an oil filter- I would change the oil every 3,000 miles. Try going to a Walmart and buy half Valvoline 10w-40 full synthetic motorcycle oil and half Valvoline 20w-50 regular motorcycle oil- it is a good price and gives a good shift and clutch feel. 2 better oils for more money are Red Line or Amsoil, however I do not like the extra clutch slipping from all synthetic oil, and the higher cost.
Great content man! Entertaining all the way through! Bikes & beards at the end, gotta love it! The Jesus Chopper, that would make A great paint theme! That night train I think it was looked really cool dude that Bobber Fet has! Your Awesome Josh! 😎🚬👍
More (practical) experience with the Chopper. Coming soon, More Adjustments, Careful Tweaking, Bar Hop Break-in’s, and .... The Paint Job!! Remember to keep tuning in, true believers!
Love that chopper, man. Love your vids. You inspired me to get a class M license. Posted my first motovlog yesterday (in a car because I haven't figured out how to mount the camera to my helmet). Thanks for the inspiration! Subscribed ;0)
Tech tip, next time you cut a threaded rod like that, put the die on there first but backwards so the cutting end faces the cut. Zero chance of a cross thread when fixing the threads. Im sure i spelled a lot wrong so you can know for sure im a mekanik
Road one right out of high school in the seventies graduate 73 had go to a parking lot turn the damn thing around. Most of them back then were BSA or Triumph
Loving the fact this bad boy is on the road. also, you being a match maker is a good what 5th or 6th gig.. (youtuber/bar owner/helper of another youtuber/"fabricator"/professional drink chooser/match maker) so yeah HAHA.. its great. :) Definitely want to make it down there soon to not only see that beast in person but to have a beer with ya. cheers bro. keep u the fun vids
Mount a small box under the seat and store a small piece of 2x4 in it. When you need to put the kickstand down just slide the 2x4 out and boom, no more dog bowl. Or, just get a longer kickstand. That sounds easier. Haha
That may not get you into the sacred brotherhood of real bikers, real bikers ride a 62% Chinese motorcycle. I like your build and all efforts, tough to beat a bike you build. You sir are a real biker💯 I love those bars, classic.
Think you about have it ready to go, now bungie a duffle on the seat and have a nice backrest to lean on. Stellar. Oh I forgot, tank capacity, you need to move the filler neck forward on the tank to get more fuel in, to late now though, no time.
If you love the bowl, youll love packing that seat up with rear and taking off on the road. I dont think theres a more comfortable place to sit then that.
Great vid, nice to see ol girl coming together, would like one day to build my own. Man I'd like to see a vid on you opinion of royal Enfield, I think you would have fun with it.
I've been planning to buy that exact "welcome" mat @16:25. It's going to feel so weird going from that chopper to the Ducati. You'll be riding the Duc and slapping your own ass looking for the shifter.
What amazes me the most is your companions and the friendship between you guys. If I ever get to move to the US, I wanna hang out with you weirdos.
Been watching the 650 chopper series from the beginning, so glad to see how far it’s come.
You are the hero that community needs, keeping property value down one chopper and beer fueled day at a time
Man, that thing looks so rad. We never get a chance to see what it looks like in motion, since it's usually on the workstand. It's definite inspiration for all your viewers' custom projects.
OK, I am living back in the 1970s again and riding a chopper. Thanks for the time machine.
At the beginning of the video I was going to say "No more garage whiskey for Flip" and then he actually pops up with the garage whiskey, awesome!
I clearly need more
Don't lie to us man, you know Flip is always the star!
I'd totally take Jenna on the bike, but it may take awhile to get the mighty 750 shadow down from Boston.
Hell yeah she can ride.. Chopper looks good too. Nice to finally see it out on a trip longer than through the neighbor hood
8:41
Shadetree- “Are you single?”
Jen- “yeah”
*FlipNa has entered the chat*
Thanks for sharing your progress on the chopper build. So COOL of you.

Such a cool build, made ice cold by the guy with the Joey Dunlop tee, you guys rock #RIPJoey
If I had a bike, and was in FLA, I would take her out. Glad the 650 is working good, looks AWESOME.
Great stuff, as always. Ride long, ride well, ride safe, and other various and sundry riding platitudes.
Hats off to your first build sounds solid.
Shadetree at his very best!!

Faaaarrrkn swwwwweeet, now the chopper is ready for paint. 🎨
Badass ! looks like everything passed the tests now all you need is some paint !
love the idea of Shaun's neighbour going OMG what just moved in.. the wife saying go sort it out (lets call her Karen ) and the husband (Nigel) responding well maybe but lets not do it today......
Just need to decide on paint colours now, diggin that chopper.
There was a moment at the end where i was looking at the tank and then your shadetree surgeon logo came up. That would look Awesome either airbrushed on the tank or engraved on the gas cap 😁

Chopper sounds good!
Looks like your getting it dailed in!
Great videos man keep up the great work! And stay safe with the storm coming.
Love 3 Bulls -- can't wait for them to start selling their own beer. And we loved their food too! We really like Bull Frog's as well.
I saw it in the comments earlier but I agree with the name Bark for the bike. It fits for that lounger you got.
We so need some footage of you from another perspective riding this beast.
love the result of the build. And sure "long jess" can ride
Love hearing ole shad-tree talking about his rigid rod......oh yeah.....
Love your vlogs always make me smile.
Can’t wait to see the paint.

I live 20 minutes from Barbers and will be on my hand built VW chopper trike, hope to see you there.
I love the side stand helper.
Starts surprisingly easy!
This is rad. Can't wait for the big ride!
The “Shadeglide” is looking great... HellYeah !!!
She’s more than welcome to come ride with me!!!! As long as she doesn’t mind being comfortable... LoL. I ride an ultra limited.
Great content man!
Entertaining all the way through!
Bikes & beards at the end, gotta love it!
The Jesus Chopper, that would make
A great paint theme!
That night train I think it was looked

Your Awesome Josh! 😎🚬👍
More (practical) experience with the Chopper. Coming soon, More Adjustments, Careful Tweaking, Bar Hop Break-in’s, and .... The Paint Job!! Remember to keep tuning in, true believers!
Next episode we’re tearing it down!
Bike is looking and sounding good...that pic gave me a good chuckle instead of easy rider was jesus rider hahaha 😂🤘
Love the build series great work man! I would definitely put her on my bike, take me a few days from Oregon.
So cool to see it all done, functioning , and legal! Haha
Love that chopper, man. Love your vids. You inspired me to get a class M license. Posted my first motovlog yesterday (in a car because I haven't figured out how to mount the camera to my helmet). Thanks for the inspiration! Subscribed ;0)
Josh, That is the coolest/Ugliest chop... "In a Good way". You should name it "Dawg". lol
Hahaha the start with Flip 😂😂 that looked like a proper good day out man you should ping tourism florida for some sponsorship 😂😂
So fucking sick man. cool to see where u started to now.
Is it backwards day? 5/16" is smaller than 3/8".🙃 🤣
Yeah pretty sure it still is .
Might got em mixed up 😂
Yes 5/16 is smaller than 6/16 😎
Deorman Robey I went looking for this comment as soon as I heard him say that. I thought maybe I was going crazy
Ok good, I did hear that right lol
Tech tip, next time you cut a threaded rod like that, put the die on there first but backwards so the cutting end faces the cut. Zero chance of a cross thread when fixing the threads. Im sure i spelled a lot wrong so you can know for sure im a mekanik
Shadetree Surgeon, The Chopper runs and you can ride it. Well done. The food looked amazing. Hell Yeah let the neighbours know what’s up.
Think I need to move back to Florida. Just seen Jump Streets instagram congrats on getting the fucking thing finally.
Flips back there guzzling the Jim Beam. Lol.
RebelWraith 81 send more

In the background you hear one of the girls say "I love how he takes the whole thing".
....and just like that, Shadetree is demonetized!
Awesome looking chopper
I'll be damned that thing is starting to look good. A nice paint job and your good to go. Good on ya bro.
That is one SWEET XS650!!👌I'm not worried about the stalling.... That kick starter will train you up REAL quick to not stall that puppy🤣😂🤣👍😀
Very cool man. Love your vids. Good people and bikes are cool too.
I enjoy watching your arm hairs just flutter around as you ride.
Road one right out of high school in the seventies graduate 73 had go to a parking lot turn the damn thing around. Most of them back then were BSA or Triumph
Its a moot point cause I am in Seattle, but sure I would ask her out if I was there. She is gorgeous.
Loving the fact this bad boy is on the road. also, you being a match maker is a good what 5th or 6th gig.. Thanks for the video buddy!
Nice your ride came along👍👍😎
Cant wait to see it painted, and with the right size kickstand! #9milson2wheelsmatt
Everytime i see those handlebars, i cry a little inside for that kid with the banana seat bike missing those bars.
Mount a small box under the seat and store a small piece of 2x4 in it. When you need to put the kickstand down just slide the 2x4 out and boom, no more dog bowl.
Or, just get a longer kickstand. That sounds easier. Haha
Devon looks like the 'Great Gazoo' with that green helmet on.
Flip Na drinking the shop peroxide!
That may not get you into the sacred brotherhood of real bikers, real bikers ride a 62% Chinese motorcycle. I like your build and all efforts, tough to beat a bike you build. You sir are a real biker💯 I love those bars, classic.
man! if you could get Rick Fairless to paint it, SWEET.
Hell Yea!! It's coming together man!!
Best sounding 650 on the planet!
There is just something positive about these videos. Chopper karma!
great content, AND HE TASTES FOOD. Hell yeah
I would gladly bring the lady on the back of my road king, the down side is that I live almost just on the other side of the planet 😂😂😂😂
As a 6ft Asian man with a Harley I feel ashamed and so jealous. I need 5 of these in my life like tomorrow. Ride safe brother!
Think you about have it ready to go, now bungie a duffle on the seat and have a nice backrest to lean on. Stellar.
Oh I forgot, tank capacity, you need to move the filler neck forward on the tank to get more fuel in, to late now though, no time.
I see like myself, the speed at which you ride, is in direct relation to how many beers you have...lol
These videos are awesome 👏
That chopper is so bad ass
Can you make a post about the overall process about this build? Was it easy? Was it hard? Would you recommend people building their own??
Do you still run the alternator with replaceable brushes on that bike?
I had trouble with mine in my old XS650.
Just badass! Man those tots looked tasty!!!
If you love the bowl, youll love packing that seat up with rear and taking off on the road. I dont think theres a more comfortable place to sit then that.
That cake looked awesome. :P
Great vid, nice to see ol girl coming together, would like one day to build my own. Man I'd like to see a vid on you opinion of royal Enfield, I think you would have fun with it.

If your coming up 231 to head to Bike weekend, give a thought to Folklore Brewery in Dothan
Way Cool, Dude! Thanks for sharing. :-)
