Is that a Canon VIXIA HF G20 you are using? If so are you using a lanc controller as well? Which would you recommend with this pan/tilt.camera whose cable would fit fine through the body of the rig? Thanks.

Its a Canon XA10 with a lanc cable. I think most any lanc cable should work without any problems.

eye On Whatever I have a generic lanc remote but it keeps turning on and off repeatedly on our G20.

How is the motor noise? Could you use this in a quiet studio without picking up the sound?
I had a Kessler head that was very loud and have used a jimmy jib head that was almost silent.

There is some noise but I would not consider it loud at all,
