Cool video. A few things, as I tried this challenge. 1. It is possible to use the propeller if Luigi has is it, and you can go under vines in 5-1 2. If you spin jump while carrying Luigi right before you are forced forward into the final fight, Luigi will go superspeed down, but red Luigi will spin jump. 3. If you throw Luigi at the fake final switch with precise-ish timing, the the models will overlap as they celebrate.

There is so much problems when ur holding up button THATS when u go on the vine, the cannon has to have both players go in it or else it will never launch, u can use a spin attack to spew out fireballs, and u can ground pound luigi to take his turn in the mushroom house. like this so nico can know for future videos :)
For this challenge should be called "ist it possible to beat with Luigi doing nothing" or something, because you said that dropping Luigi is allowed for narrow spaces. So you can't beat it, if you have to drop him.

Technically, If you defeat Bowser while carrying Luigi, you beat the challenge, so you don't have to carry him through the whole game, but where's the fun in that they say?

Solution to underwater problem. Connect a 3rd controller and play as toad. Use Mario to push Luigi and use the toad as a platform for luigi.

You CAN use the fire flower (if Luigi has one), this is not a limitation, you will just make a spin jump to do so
