It's a song that holds a lot of memories for me as a NiziU fan, and I love it. I was looking forward to seeing how Haru and the others would tackle the song. When JY Park talked about how it's important to pick good activities on days off from work, it made me think of my own days off. Sometimes I tend to do outdoor stuff, like short hikes, and/or looking for things to photograph. My island doesn't have much recreational centers, but I wish it did, like trampoline parks and archery ranges. 👍 When Yuuhi said Yuu looks cool with wet hair and a towel on his shoulder after a shower, I was hoping a cute parody drawing would appear on screen to show how that looks. 😅
That sounds like a lovely way to spend time off! I like being outdoors but I haven’t had the chance to be outside much. Summer in Texas is a bit miserable at times though haha Hahaha omg that made me laugh. The fact they included him saying that 🤣
Tomoya securing the leader position in the final group? I guess we shall see. However, I thought it was absolutely amazing that literally ALL the boys chose him as a leader (even the ones that were never in a team with him), proving that the position really suits him when even the ones that have never worked with him KNOW he's a leader material. And the fact that Tomoya picked himself as well? JYP, never let him go, this boy is truly a treasure! Regarding the division of the members into three teams, I have to mention once again that it doesn't seem very fair to me. The only time I've found it fair was in the very first and actually only team mission in part 1 where each team had some member(s) with all three cubes, some with two, and then some with one or none. However, in part 2, there seems to be always one team in each mission that is visibly a lot stronger than the others (last time it being the power trio of Yu, Haru and Eiji). This mission is no exception. Looking at the latest rankings and the new teams, it comes out like this: Team Haru (ranked as number 1), Yu (4), Ken (5), Seita (6) = total score of 16 Team Tomoya (2), Yuki (7), Miraku (10), Sean (12) = total score of 31 Team Yuhi (3), Eiji (8), Sodai (9), Taiga (11) = total score of 31 There seems to be a quite huge difference if you ask me... It didn't make sense to me the first time I watched it, I didn't understand why they didn't split the teams up a little more equally. Looking back at it, I think I know what JYP's strategy was behind it but I am still not a big fan of it. Because when one team has that much of a dominance, it will always lead to a lot of disappointment and possible tears from those who will be literally crushed by them. Brace yourself for the next episode and prepare tissues, they'll be needed... I can also feel the long ass essay (that I will definitely write next week) coming because I always have a lot to say about episode 8 so I apologize in advance.
I do love that they all voted Tomoya as leader! It was really sweet!! I agree with the others, this was well said. There does seems to be a big disparity in ranking and skill level within the teams..but I do also see why. It’s hard to divide the team in a “fair way” while also giving them a view at team dynamics and capabilities. Looking forward to what you have to say next week!!

OMG, trying to catch up your reactions haha, i'm sooo late ! I love how everyone chose Tomoya as the leader, it simply shows how he already has that place in the team. He plays an important part in the group, always here to help and to give advices. He's amazing ! Their distressed faces made my heart ache so much, you can see how they want to go to the finals with everyone. Haru's team have so much powerful individual members ! I knew it will be an amazing and strong performance in advance ! Again, i love the Heart Hunter team, but it's soooo unfair to put all of them together in one team and to put other members who are more struggling in another team ! But for real, i can say that these 4 are reading to debut !! I love them, they're amazing !

I don't know how I feel about the new rule that people can be eliminated if they are not in the winning group. For Nizi Pro season 1 and a2k it was all about the participants not competing with each other and I enjoyed seeing all the cheering for everyone. Competition can be good, but ... maybe I am making too much of it. Now I am getting nervous ugh!

Remember that in season 1, Mayuka wasn't standing out until JYP reminded her that she needed to showcase herself more and be "greedy for attention". And what did that get her? Emerging as spitfire rapper and debuting in NiziU as one half of RIMAYUKA. And it's crazy that the song that unleashed Mayuka is again putting another team in the spotlight: Heart Hunters' rendition is a freakin good spin on the classic. I love the fact that it's an awesome version distinct from the original, and also distinct from the 2K5 version (yeah Heartbeat solidified my Mayuka Bias). That song is HARD to pull off - it can make you or break you - but if you manage to do so, it'll always be iconic. JYP said it himself when be decreed it as best in NPS2, despite not even seeing the other 2 groups. Well, Hearthunters is obviously stacked, with all four members coming from winning teams from Mission 2. There's also the familiarity dynamics: Yu obviously works well with Haru (Team Jet Black, Rainboys), and Ken has teamed with Seita twice (Switch with Me, Come Back when You hear this Song). But working together has truly brought out a monster of a stage. IT'S JUST THAT GOOD. 👊 Next week comes the results, with elimination/s looming. Remember the routes - somebody's time is up. 😢
Tomoya has my vote too! I think he can learn and grow into a great leader! I can definitely tell the feedback is getting more detailed, and more crucial. The group is starting to take shape. And certain people are starting to really shine. I kind of love that Heartbeat is the song unlocking so much potential again! It’s a fun correlation! We’re starting to see the real potential of their teamwork. So I’m going to be extremely curious know the split for the finale 🤔 I am.. so massively not excited for eliminations…
Yesterday (July 20th 2023 )was the first day that Nizipro 2 aired on Japanese morning TV programs; (every Wednesday)in fact, these auditions were Start in the spring of 2022, so two years have already passed. In the first Nizipro, the rule for the Korean camp was that the person who got the lowest rank two times in a row would be eliminated. In Nizipro 2, too, at first. But before the 3rd stage, the rule was changed and all the teams that came in 1st place would get a cube and be able to compete in the finals, but the rest of the teams would have to drop out. This is the reason for the change. After NEXZ's debutantes were chosen, I realized that in the 2nd stage, everyone who placed 7th or lower debuted. It seems that the team composition for the 3rd stage was unfair. Mr. Park chosen four members as Heartbeat singing teams from the two teams that won in the 2nd stage. I thought that Mr.Park had intended to select these four as the debut members from the stage of selecting the two winning teams in the 2nd stage. The other two teams leaders, Yuhi and Tomoya, have been ranked higher and have served as team leaders twice, so I thought that these six were intended to be made members by the 2nd stage.
