Thanks so much for this video! You always hear about gold mines & gold found in British Columbia & California but you don’t hear about Washington, Oregon, and Idaho which has always puzzled me, from a geological standpoint, the terrain should be just as conducive to holding gold.
So, after a minor investigation on the Wallula robbery. The entire search area is a State park. So, if you found it, the government will take it from you. I have noticed that this is a pattern with treasure areas. If there is a useless park or wildlife area, there is most likely a treasure nearby.
The way gold nuggets form is from gold ore is exposed up high and then erosion when it rains becomes a natural gold sluice down into the Lake. The gold mine is not in a cave, it’s the lake itself. That’s where he’s getting the nuggets. Panning the lake

Some of that mine near spirit lake dropped from the sky in 1980 as super fine dust (mixed with volcanic ash).

Pretty sure they didn't have phones there at that time 😂 my Grandpa built a cabin up there in the 40s and it still doesn't have a phone there in 2022
