Today I travel out to Oshawa and enjoy an Egg Benedict and Strawberry, Banana & Chocolate Crepe at Crepe Castle Restaurant then venture on over to Markham for an amazing lunch at The Dutchess of Markham which included, Guinness Lamb Stew with Steak Fries, Chicken Thai Bites and awesome hot wings.

Those eggs looked perfect with the top cooked but lots of runny yolk. There’s nothing like just squeezed orange juice, totally different taste to that pre-squeezed stirred stuff.
You know you're a KBD fan when the guy asks "how would you like your eggs?" and you know Ken is going to say soft. Kudos to them for asking you how you want your eggs, I knew right then you'd get good food.
Eggs Benedict hits the spot for me too every time. It's my go to breakfast at restaurants. That order looked amazing and what a generous portion!!

Never had eggs benedict but my favorite breakfast of all time is biscuits and gravy for sure.

I can relate to "always getting eggs benny when it's on the menu"... but my vice is fettuccine alfredo, it can be the same but also so, so different between restaurants 🤤🍴

Wow, all that food looks great. I wish we had a pub style restaurant like the Duchess where I live. I would love to spend many hours there with a few beers, some good food and good friends.
Medallion home fries are the best! Everything looks delicious

When we worked at the old Emerson Electric plant at Major Mack and hwy 48 we used to hit the Duchess for lunch and a couple of pints after work ...

Or go across the street to Coco Frutti! It's a fancy all day breakfast chain that does TEN different variations of eggs benedict (it even has its own section on the menu!). There is nothing that comes out of that kitchen that people aren't wowed or shocked about! Presentation is everything and there is so much fresh fruit! Even the basic bacon & eggs type meal comes with a slice of honeydew, a slice of canteloupe and a slice of pineapple. If you do choose to go - tell them that the "all canteloupe people" sent you. They will know what that means... LOL Bon Appetit!
Ken the music when you were in the pub/bar was great! I loved the soothing choice it made the atmosphere seem great in their!
If I can recall Marco Pierre White said, "show your generosity in the portion of food you serve!" This was an absolute 'banger' of a meal, thanks for sharing Ken!

I love sunnyside up eggs with pancakes! Dip in the yolk. Ah it been several years since I been to Perkins. Umm yeah you can have orange juice, coffee and heck you could have a shake. I like chicken drummies. It popular at our diner and my parents runs a diner. Always wanted to go to Canada. Maybe someday.

Every Easter my mom makes me eggs on golden rod on toast sooo good.
Eggs Benedict is my fav go to breakfast every morning whenever I’m on Carnival Cruises.
I thought for sure my hubby would LOVE eggs benedict but he hated the hollandaise! Yummmmmmm! Oh well, more for me! Heather xo
Hi Ken - really enjoy your videos. I use a small pad similar to this. When it’s full the beads inside darken and you can refresh by heating on medium in the microwave for 6 minutes.

Hello Ken WoW !! Its 1:30 Am and I'm so hungry for that Eggs Benedict. Did you say free food.... The reality is these restaurants and eatery's should give you an assortment of food to review. Its a win win for each party, you get the views and the restaurants get there name out and business. It would be very satisfying if you would have a "Big Crunch Cam" slow motion crunching that would be amazing !!! Great video Ken .....

It’s a mix between corned beef hash or sausage gravy and biscuits but I LOVE eggs Benedict! Not everyone has that on the menu where I live in the states. It’s definitely a treat 😍
American here. I love eggs Benedict and have never been asked how I want my eggs as it’s always assumed they are runny!

Ken ... you need to schedule all the items on the menu over couple of months .... Start with the first couple and go down the list in your next subsequent visits!

My favorite breakfast order is Eggs Benny.My favorite Eggs Benny is the Blackstone with bacon and tomato or Southwestern with Chili. I always ask for extra hollandaise :)

I spent about 10 minutes going over the Duchess menu. I certainly wish we had a good English Pub where I live... that menu is all the foods I love and a few I want to love.

Chains never offer free food, the heck do you live? Mom and pop shops are the ones who can be generous because it brings in more business
great reviews.... duchess is a classic. The Main St Greek across the place is pretty authentic, love it whenever i'm up in the area. The whole street on Main st markham is filled with great resturants, TnT bakery, Cho-kow-lat, Folcos, Inspire, Main Greek, Love Gelato, Slice of Fire , Cafe Kkinn , Binge Burrito, Azyun....Can't go wrong with any of them.
I am going to try this place this spring..looks awesome.

If you have “DAISO” in Canada, there are better moisture absorbers you can buy for cheap and it will not pour because it’s sealed yet absorbs.
I like Moisture Grabbers. No mess, odor or spills.

Dine with Domik! Be great to see restaurateurs explain their beginnings and ethos behind what they do. Also a very original concept! Go for it! CR is a rockstar with that service, Paul also smacks out some wicked looking food. The real winner here was you though Ken as you got to eat and enjoy it! Lol.

he did one from Rusty before, seemed pretty legit to me.
Little bit of heat but honey bbq 🍗 to home made using one whole bottle of Louisiana hot sauce +one stick of butter 🧈 mixed all up. After the wings are grilled or fried or air fried toss them in the sauce to get coated. Enjoy.

When you need to replenish your damp rid, get calcium chloride ice melter (the white pellets).
