Have had the compact and now the full size batwing. Love them both. Excellent quality, not overly heavy and the magnetic catches are a smart touch. Its also nice Rhino Rack gives you a cleat as well, other brands leave you to tie up on your own.
I got this kit for my JK with the RCL feet (low profile) but those feet have tabs sticking down at the bottom but there is no slots for them to go into the backbone bases sitting on top of the roof. Did I get the wrong feet or am I missing something?
I tried opening my full size batwing by myself like that and ended up breaking two of the hinges when I tied it to the rack. Must be a common thing since the awning came with two spares. Ever since I make sure to have another person extend the legs as I open it. Kind of annoying since there are awnings now with better hinges that don't require legs on the awning.
When opening as these are not freestanding, you drop each leg as you go around. Two trailers with a compact and now full size batwing with zero issues. I can see how it could easily break though. Not sure they are the weak link but $30 set of spare hinges (2 free with mine) vs a new awning is a win.
Because they produce videos to feature new products. JKs went out of production 5 years ago. That's great if you still like your JK, but this is a pretty stupid question.

This seems super cool, but would it be feasible to install this if I take the top off often?
What size are the bolts that attach the platform to the supports?
So does the platform come come as one piece? Or do we need to put it together?

Is it possible to buy quick mount legs separatly from rack? I already have pioneer roof rack with classic legs
