I do know he was well known throughout the beginning of the ville like riverdale legion and Saratoga. I had family in Brownsville projects, Tilden projects, riverdale towers and Vandyke so I ventured out there every now and then but most of the hood was segregated. Even internally. Jeshua XL Collins but thats cuz folks from L.A. got family out east and when they returned for whatever reason they brought that with them and it stuck. Lots of sets out there have actual ties to the original block where they have the east coast come visit L.A. and vice versa to keep that interstate connecting. Not just bodies people want anymore they want range now. They want to be able to go to the east coast and do business and vice versa. Cuz its way more valuable to have 10 solid homies rather than 100 that might fold.
Think you really have to think about adding other voices to your content. You are giving gang members a voice but you need to open a space for others too. Other voices need to be heard like earlier generations. Find dudes who were in gangs or grew up around them but found there own way. You have to balance this with something else. Compare active gang members with something else to bring out other insights.

Alex A. Alonso why don't you start a paid section? Take a chance and take a free video interview and add about 20 more minutes of content to it but make that paid. Once you get members to buy the paid product just constantly market to them and include their analytics in your decisions as you can. Keep it affordable by the piece or charge a monthly with minimum on content. I'd buy with no problem and others would too. But just doing the patron thing is kinda like asking for a handout you know? And I think by what you are offering there is no need to do that because you do have a brand here and loyal customers as well as advocates. You need more content to pull in the paid customers. Although I’m not into gang life I did grow up in the 90’z where 823 started and I know for a fact syke bike started it. I remember when they were going around jumping random people telling them they crip now. The villa didn’t turn crip til later most of it was blood. Think you really have to think about adding other voices to your content. You are giving gang members a voice but you need to open a space for others too. Other voices need to be heard like earlier generations. Find dudes who were in gangs or grew up around them but found there own way. You have to balance this with something else. Compare active gang members with something else to bring out other insights.
Because after this interview what does he go away with? What does the audience go away with except one man's story to a problem that affects how many?

Alex A. Alonso why don't you start a paid section? Take a chance and take a free video interview and add about 20 more minutes of content to it but make that paid. Once you get members to buy the paid product just constantly market to them and include their analytics in your decisions as you can. Keep it affordable by the piece or charge a monthly with minimum on content. I'd buy with no problem and others would too. But just doing the patron thing is kinda like asking for a handout you know? And I think by what you are offering there is no need to do that because you do have a brand here and loyal customers as well as advocates. You need more content to pull in the paid customers. All the best.

You should and you can hit them off with emails about specific reasons you need money. Don't be like some businesses that only listen to customers that give praise. The business you're in is dealing with a problem "young men who have gone astray" and that requires efforts at a solution.
