We try to get him to magnetise his stuff but he really does have no time. When he does have free time, we steal it by playing warhammer/dnd with him LOL
Unsure where else you can get them, but in the UK we can get pre-sized magnets with an adhesive foam side that are so so easy. Even if you have slotta bases or any other uneven surface, can just cut them with scissors to fit the job.
I used to transport my orks in a box with packing peanuts. That was kinda fine for the infantry cause they were old 3e orks and they were pretty tough. Nowadays it's magents or nothing. I have a box with a steel sheet.
You can save a fortune by using ferrous magnetic tape cut to 1-2 cm pieces. It is not as strong as the neodymium magnets, so you have to use a good bit of it, but it still is cheaper by a lot.
LMAO. I hated when I attached the legs and torso. I was new so i didnt clean my cuts so it was lopsided. And when I got another unit and cleaned my cuts, it was still so difficult so get the damn legs and body together :l
Can't you just use super glue and skip the milliput. That's what i do. Also you can just buy a plastic box, get an old oven tray. Glue it to the bottom of the plastic box and bam you got a plastic box with metal bottom :)
My magnets were too thin to reach the bottom lol, why i used miliput. The plastic box thing is an awesome idea, sadly I only knew of it after i spent my $$$ LOL
I transported my guards in shoes box and cookie box when I changed house. If you squeeze enough in the box, they block each other.
Oh my god LOL
Transporting minis around In a loose box is honestly upsetting
