As someone fascinated by fashion history...... you all need to actually try corsets for their actual purpose and not just as a trend or a top. They are surprisingly comfortable and there is a huge variety of cuts and styles.
I like the second one the best. The third one definitely needs to be different color but I would like to have seen the shirt dress without the corset to see what it looked like.

Should try corsets from corset story, they are so pretty. Just dont tight lace, tighten it to the point where you know the girls are gonna stay in place but not so much you hurt or can't breathe.

My girl was watching your video, and she wears corsets, and she pointed out that these aren’t technically corsets at all, and the last top isn’t even a corset design; it’s a bustier - which isn’t a form of corset, it’s basically an extended bra. She’s only pointing this out cause she would really like to see y’all in some proper corsets, with the boning and everything. Fashion Nova does sell actually corsets if you ever want to make a part 2 to this or something.
Just incase you guys didn't know, these are not actual corsets. Theyre corset inspired tops. A corset has laces and steel bones and sinches you in. It can also train your waist. But I do think these tops are cute, love fashion nova and really appreciate the review 💜
There are corsets that were mostly corded and quilted with very few whale bones and no steel bones, in fact most of the extent examples were made that way, the only metal part were the busk and the eyelids
The weird colored one that they all hated- I was like crying 😭🤚 GIRL THAT LOOKED SO CUTE THO! The only thing I didn’t really like was the color, but even then the color isn’t too bad. I like earthy/nude colors and with that button up dress- BEAUTIFUL! One of my favorite corsets in this video. Usually I’d agree, but with this one I completely disagree 🤧

Those aren’t corsets. Something being in the “shape” of a corset and having some lacing doesn’t make it a corset. The materials and the construction are crucial for making a corset function like a corset. And FIY, a corset shouldn’t be made of any kind of stretchy material. Not even 2% spandex or naturally stretchy cotton weave.
