- Havelock Island is one of the most beautiful islands in India, and for good reason. It's home to some of the whitest sand beaches you'll ever see, crystal-clear waters, and lush vegetation. If you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation, Havelock Island is the perfect place for you.
In this video, I'll be taking you to Kalapathar Beach, one of the most popular beaches on Havelock Island. We'll go for a swim in the clear blue waters, sunbathe on the white sand, and explore the surrounding area. In the evening, we'll go kayaking and see the sunset over the ocean.
I'll also be sharing some tips on where to stay, eat, and get around Havelock Island. Here are some of my recommendations:
Places to stay:
Greenwood Resorts: If you are a budget backpackers, you should definitely check out this property.
Taj Exotica Resort & Spa: This luxurious resort has everything you need for a relaxing vacation, including a private beach, infinity pool, and spa.
Sea Shell Havelock: This budget-friendly resort is located right on Kalapathar Beach. It has a pool, restaurant, and bar.
Havelock Beach Resort: This family-friendly resort is also located on Kalapathar Beach. It has a pool, restaurant, and playground.
Restaurants to eat:
The Lighthouse Restaurant: This restaurant has stunning views of the ocean. It serves a variety of Indian and Continental dishes.
The Beach Hut: This casual restaurant is located right on the beach. It serves seafood and pizzas.
The Spice Hut: This Indian restaurant is a great place to try local dishes.
Ferry timings from Port Blair:
The ferry from Port Blair to Havelock Island departs from Phoenix Bay jetty.
The ferry leaves at 6:20 AM and 2:00 PM daily.
The journey takes about 2 hours.

Where did you do the kayaking and how much did it cost ? which is the best beach for bioluminescence in Havelock ? Amazing video btw ❤
We did kayaking at Havelock. Charges are around 2K- 3.5K depending on the season. We paid 2.5k per person. There is no particular beach where u can see bioluminescence as it completely depends on the season you're travelling and also the weather condition. Glad you liked it ❤️
