Hello mate, due to the nature of the dn9650 you can only run 24 channels bidirectionally per AES50 port or something like that, this was a hack solution as i already owned the dn9650, ive since purchased a proper dante card for the m32c
@@TheodoreMiller oh that’s a bummer.. i hoped to have 64 channels of dante over a single aes50 but yeah… not possible. Thanks for taking the time to answer! I appreciate it!
@@eliatasti06yt So AES50 is the bottleneck there, you can only run 48ch bidirectionally at 48k, or 24 bidirectionally at 96k. If you had a pro2 you could run three aes50's to the dn9650 for your 64 channels of dante, but with an m32 they're obviously not really set up to handle anything over 48ch, you could get 64 channels with two m32c's, both with dante cards in, but at those channel counts you probably want to get a desk that actually has that many channels!
@@TheodoreMiller the original idea was using something like this to use inserts on like the x32 or the wing for example, and not clog up another dante card that could be used for inputs and recording. It was just a scenario in my head of something that could have been useful (even though it would have kind of been a nightmare to setup)
@@eliatasti06yt Dante is bidirectional so you could send the 32 channels over dante to live professor and back down the same cable, but as its dante you just need another computer on the same network and it can record all of the channels coming straight off the preamps, and if you're on a wing then you have 64 ch dante available internally
Great rig, and I hadn’t heard of Vexed before, thanks for the introduction!
Happy to help!
Nice setup
Cheers bro!
hi how did you setup the dante bridge? does it give you 64 channels of I/O over a single AES50 connection?

What happened to your pro 2?
Only comes out on truck tours!
@@TheodoreMiller I understand that. My Pro 1 stays at a casino.
