  • Imagine never having to adjust the shotting on your made up waggler rods again? See how I pre-load my wagglers using solder wire so that no matter which one I choose to clip onto my rod, it will already be set perfectly with the correct amount of droppers. Then see how I make a special plumbing up waggler which makes finding the depth super quick and easy. Waggler fishing is now faster and more simple than ever!

    That is a really good idea . this is the reason why I've never really liked float fishing . My eyes are not great anymore so I have had to use large floats to be able to see them and as you said you need bulk of weights for setting the float.

    Sticking it Dan leaves you with less shotting options though and messing about with another float to plumb up. Far better to remove the wire,plumb up and replace the wire then tie a small loop of pole elastic to stop it sliding above it or you could use a couple of medium pellet bands. Job done.👍

      Hi Robert,
      As with most things in angling, there are several ways of doing it and it is up to the angler to pick the method that best suits them.
      My reason for keeping the loading fixed is so I can quickly swap wagglers without adjusting my shotting. I think 8 no 8s worth of loading gives me all the shotting options I need. If I need move shot down the line than that on a Stillwater for example, I’d swap to a slider.
      For the time it took to make and the added advantage of the visual indicators (as soon as the middle orange strip goes under I know I’m tight to the plummet, which isn’t always obvious), I’d rather stick to using a plumbing up waggler. Clipping on another waggler is quicker and easier than taking the lead off.
      There is no right way of course. It’s all personal preference.

      Wayne Nippard it doesn’t say on the packaging so I’ve measured it with a calliper. It’s 1.2mm

      @@danwebbfishing456 Sorry Dan, one last question. Do you just use superglue to fix? Will definitely be giving this a go 😎

    • @danwebbfishing456
      @danwebbfishing456  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No problem. I wrap and pinch the wire on as tight as I can. Careful use of some needle nose pliers can help. Getting the lead to hold so it doesn’t slide helps a lot. Once it’s on tight, the then dab and drip with super glue.
