      Yeah, don't buy it. I have one that randomly cuts out. It's been more than a year and Ryobi has been unable or unwilling to fix it. We've spent hours and hours with customer service, sent it out for warranty service, etc. Nothing. 2 years still broken and now they just don't respond.

    I missed the Equip Expo this year. I would have looked through the Ryobi booth. I have lots of the 18 volt tools. I do bleed Ryobi green.

    I wish Ryobi or Milwaukee would make something like a push portable street sweeper. Something like a push lawnmower with rolling brush /Shop Vac that can suck up pine needles, leaves and curb road debris into a dump bag.

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      They had a push sweeper about 5 years ago and it looked pretty cool. The only this is it took up a lot of space for storage.

      I have that Ryobi sweeper. Great for interior job site clean up. I’m talking 2x4 offcuts, sawdust, etc. but yes takes up a bunch of space

    So they make anything like the honda engines gxe2.0h(electric engine);
    (they made this awesome electric motor and decided to put it into a go-kart of all things!!!)…and has a pump attached to it???
    So an electric version of the JCB-WP50, for example(I used this as a random model, it can be any other brand).

    I was a big Ryobi lawn & garden guy. No more due to inability to get warranty service.
    In mid-2022, Home Depot got out of the Ryobi authorized repair business. Only a small number of items can be sent in via Ryobi Rapid repair. Otherwise, you have to bring it in. My nearest warranty service center is 80 miles away. And I'm within a hour of a major city. 320 miles of driving in total? No thanks. And for some people, the nearest service center is hundreds of miles away.
    Extended warranty from Allstate/Home Depot? Sorry, it doesn't kick in until the start of the fourth year or ownership. Until then, it's *useless*.

    I've been interested in the lawn tractor but am still waiting for the price to be more reasonable. I don't mind paying a bit more for electric but $5000-5500 is a tough pill to swallow when gas versions are half the price and plenty on the used market for another half of that.

    • @MarkThomasBuilder

    Why not have the tiller and snowblower work on the 80v setup for better performance and run time? Those can be overworked real easy

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The snowblower is pretty powerful with the 6Ah 40V batteries. Stay tuned for my review on it.
      There's also more products that the 40v runs on, making this a better choice for the consumer.

    The power source to replace a power outage is BS - unless anyone delivers a power source that delivers 8kW hours p/day for a minimum of 5 days (over a 24 hour p.day period) is nothing more than a towy - just get real - a generator will replace this every day of the week until this unit delivers as stated above.
