Don’t forget that you do need some formal learning materials to form a base that these videos can help you build on. If you use the right programs in combination with videos like this, and practicing your speaking with natives, you’ll progress much faster than only relying on only one source of learning material.
This is the BEST channel EVER. I can speak Spanish quite functionally, and read it fairly well, but even after many years of study, practice, travel to Latin America, even immersion, my biggest challenge is still understanding native speakers! So glad I found this and look forward to dramatically improving my comprehension. And what a super bonus to (virtually) visit my favorite city in the world, CDMX, in the process. I remember meeting a ‘dog (walker) whisperer’ in that very same park a couple years ago with all his perros sitting at attention, so well behaved.

2021 05 19 I just stumbled across your channel. I had hispanophone co-workers who were kind enough to speak slowly to me, so this is a nice change of pace, quite literally. I hope to train my ears. Due to many collegiate hours of Latin and Greek I can puzzle out written Spanish, but my ears fall far behind.

The verb “convivir” is hard to describe because it doesn’t exist in other languages. You use it when you’re hanging around with your friends and family or when you live in peace with strangers. Like they don’t need to be your friends but you respect them and you “convives en paz con ellos”.
It is difficult to generalize this. And I haven't been to every city in Mexico. But I'd say that in my experience mexicans are quite friendly. (: Saludos, Pau
Hola Ana! La palabra Roomie significa compañero de cuarto. Es la persona con la cual se comparte un lugar para vivir, ya sea una casa o departamento (no son parientes entre si). Muchos mexicanos utilizamos palabras anglosajonas en nuestra vida diaria.

@@anacasanova7350Gracias por compartir tu punto de vista, es muy válido y me gustaría agregar que el uso de palabras en inglés depende del contexto en donde se encuentren. Por ejemplo, si están en España, obviamente no será funcional porque no lo utilizan, pero si están en México o en otros países de latinoamerica, sería muy útil que conocieran algunas palabras cotidianas (aunque no sean del idioma español). Recuerda que a lo que aspiran las personas es hablar como un nativo y darse a entender con otros, esto incluye el aprendizaje de las palabras coloquiales para desenvolverse sin problemas en cualquier contexto. Por otro lado, en el ámbito empresarial también hacen uso de palabras en inglés, sobretodo en informática y áreas administrativas, y no es por demeritar el idioma Español. Saludos :)
